Beautiful house with an amazing porch. Sat outside every morning and evening. Spacious so we could spread out - important with teenagers. Kitchen was well stocked so we were able to cook dinner at home.

This place was absolutely amazing and magical. Definitely above and beyond our expectations. It was very nice, quiet and the nature was incredible. The host was very friendly and responsive and made sure that we were having a great experience. We’re very grateful that she opened up her place for us. Everything was perfect! Would definitely do this again!

If you’re looking for a magical stay whilst visiting Ojai this is your place. I felt right at home from the moment I parked the rental car under the carport. The place was spotless, everything was super easy and I felt relaxed right away. The views were incredible and I will def be staying again. Thanks, Guys!

Having three bedrooms and two bathrooms was an absolute blessing, even with just 3 people on the trip. Between driving in from AZ (day 2 of trip from NM!) and all kinds of crazy back and forth trips to LA for concerts, we definitely needed the various rooms to decompress and gets our showers done. Hot water lasted through 3 people, so good sized tank or one of those in-line heater things, not sure which. Space was clean and elegant. I truly wish we'd had time to use the hot tub or the book nook. As it turned out, we didn't, but both looked great. We prefer slightly softer beds (2 out of the 3 of us), but the third person was quite happy with the firmness thereof. Having washer and dryer on site was useful. Oven/Stove worked fine when we used it three times during stay. Fridge was big and clean. Overall happy with the stay and the amenities.

We had a fantastic stay—our kids absolutely loved it and begged to stay longer every single day. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, with gorgeous morning strolls and stunning evening sunsets. We especially appreciated that it was dog-friendly—the built-in dog door in the bedroom was such a thoughtful detail, letting our pup come and go without waking us. After full days of kayaking around the Channel Islands, relaxing in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. The kitchen was fully stocked for home-cooked meals, and the welcome snacks were a lovely touch. We also loved not having to pack beach gear—the hosts had everything covered: toys, canopy, towels, you name it. Everything was spotless and well maintained, and the host’s kindness in offering us a late checkout made our departure so much smoother. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

What a special, SPECIAL place. I was so sad to leave and STILL wish I was there right now. The perfect little escape, was pretty much a wellness retreat. We got to reset and relax before the start of the new year in this storybook home surrounded by Mother Nature. Doing yoga under the trees, seeing all the hummingbirds and butterflies come to visit, enjoying the cowboy hot tub under the stars, sweating it out in the infrared sauna, and getting cozy inside the most charming home was exactly what we needed after a long year of work and travel. This is such a sweet and special place and we can't wait to return one day!! Amazing location. You can have all the privacy, peace and quiet you want, or you can go into "town" and grab a bite or get to the store if needed. Convenient, yet private - the winning combination when it comes to location. All of the stars go to the host - Lynne is a total sweetheart. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. We can't thank her enough!

My husband likes to say..."wow, that's why Michael is a 'super host'"! This home is what every air bnb consumer hopes for. It actually exceeds your expectation. He has thought of everything and more. Every detail is covered, everything you need is there. The home is immaculate and so are all the appointments, home appliances and gardens. There is a wonderful patio and barbeque too. I remember saying 'pride in ownership'. We had a different circumstance coming here in that we were displaced by the California Wild Fires. We found the comfort of our home here and the comfort of our hosts, who care. We had hardly anything when we got there and Michael and his wonder partner provided for, and had already thought of everything. We were fortunate this home was available when we needed it. As far as travel, if you are a tourist, I personally needed to get around, to our former home, and to work. The freeway is close by as are many wonderful restaurants. Enjoy!

A sweet oasis - peaceful. Private. The outdoor communal area was a dream come true. The herbal tea bar was a comforting and amazing touch. The sauna was beautiful to sit in and enjoy the views of the garden. Great location, close to everything. Amazing recommendations for the area - for all walks of life. They thought of everything and were super kind and accommodating; friendly pups and cool to have the option to get fresh kitchen eggs too. I’m already planning on returning, not one trip - but two are already in my mind - crossing fingers it’ll be open to book! :)

My boyfriend and I stayed in this RV camper in Santa Paula and it was absolutely beautiful exactly what we needed to escape the city. The space is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and so thoughtfully set up. At night, the fireplace adds the perfect cozy touch, and listening to the frogs and crickets felt like they were all singing in harmony. We left feeling refreshed and connected. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Excellent one bedroom unit right on the beach with the perfect location. Exactly as described and ideal for a quick weekend away. We will be back soon I’m sure!

My stay at Vivian’s place was truly wonderful! Her home is located at a very convenient location, close to everything: the market, Downtown Ventura, Botanical gardens, and the pier! The inside of her house is gorgeous, spacious, clean, and decorated so nicely. The pictures posted did not do it justice; we were pleasantly surprised! My family and I enjoyed cooking together in the spacious kitchen. The patio dining area is so lovely, but we were too cold to eat outside this time. The living room is great, my kids loved hanging out there! Vivian offers nice streaming options on TV and some games to play, so the kids were entertained the whole time. The bedrooms are serene and tastefully decorated and we appreciated plenty of closet space and the hangers. The master bedroom and bathroom are the best! My parents really loved their stay there. The room is so spacious: there is a bed, walk-in closet, a sofa, and a desk/chair. Thank you Vivian for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Mary is such a kind and considerate host! She was so flexible with my friends and me. This was my second time staying at her home because I had such an incredible experience the first time. This time was just as peaceful, lovely, and wonderful as the first. Mary was kind enough to send me local recommendations and respond to my questions before, during, and after my stay. Her home feels like such a magical sanctuary that for a moment made me forget I was even in LA. My friends and I found comfy spots outside to meditate and listen to the sounds of the frogs, coyotes, owls, bees, and the other gorgeous sounds of Topanga. I truly cannot recommend Mary’s Airbnb enough and I will absolutely be staying here yet again in the future.

Stayed here for the weekend with my sisters and we loved it! Perfect location and clear instructions. The house is spacious and it’s nice that it’s a separate private area. Loved the pool and hot tub as well!

This place was the perfect spot for our group attending a wedding in Malibu. The Airbnb was well provisioned with anything you could need and comfy beds. Everything was super clean!

Johnny's home is a beautiful retreat in a quiet residential neighborhood. The backyard with pool and hottub is a perfect place to gather with friends and family at the end of the day. Johnny is a wonderful communicator he was always available for us, he got back to us very quickly. I would highly recommend this home. We would stay here again.

Wonderful spot in a relatively private environment for the area. Very clean, very spacious

The host wanted to meet at check-in as long as we weren't too late. Our plane into LA was repeatedly delayed and the host remained flexible as I updated her on our changing arrival time. Check-in was helpful because the driveway is accessed by an electric gate and we learned how it operates and where remote was located. The unit is part of a large house with access to a very nice garden. We did see the hosts in the backyard occasionally as well as their dogs but we didn't lack for privacy. The unit was really large. With an open floor plan it could be a challenge for people in a large group to find a place to themselves. The upstairs has one bedroom and then a bed and pull out couch in a common area. The bedroom is private but you walk through the loft area to access the bathroom. Both bathrooms are large and nicely finished. The hosts checked in several times via message while we were there. Easy to walk to grocery and restaurants and easy access from LAX.

Perfect for us! Lots of space and light, really nice master bedroom and bathroom, good beds. And a better deal than most in the area. Very nice and communicative host. Thanks, Gloria!!

Five stars - There was a scheduling mix up over the holiday weekend with the cleaning service before we arrived but our host, Rachel, quickly came over with cleaning supplies in hand and took care of it all, making it really nice & clean for our weekend stay.
