Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Picardy

We had the most wonderful stay over Christmas at Aisling’s place. The decor was stunning, with so many personal touches that made us feel right at home. We especially loved the cozy fireplace and the fact that the property was so dog-friendly. Everything we could possibly need was provided, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is peaceful, with plenty to explore nearby. We highly recommend this beautiful home and would love to return in the future!

Don't hesitate to stay at the estate, everything is as advertised and in addition Oleg is friendly and very available for any questions or other. The house and its facilities offered us a haven of peace. What could be better than taking a pedal boat ride on the lake before going to relax in the sauna! Special mention to the campfire site which for me was a real favorite! In short, go for it!

We had a fantastic stay over Christmas. On arrival we had Prosecco and chocolate which was a very thoughtful touch. Rebecca’s house is fun and quirky, it has a very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds with lovely clean linen and fluffy towels, there were even lots of fun board games. It is a beautiful location and we would love to go back in the summer.

This cosy house in the glowing landscape was a great getaway and perfect to enjoy some quite time with friends or family. We had everything we needed, including a fireplace, well stocked kitchen and a great yard with BBQ and hot tub. The surroundings are very beautiful and you can enjoy them from the couch inside. The only thing I would improve is the kitchen, we felt like a lot of materials were old or not available.

Really lovely stay. Sarah was communicative and helpful throughout (and even left us a couple of Easter Eggs for the kids, thank you!). The place was very comfy, nice and clean, and had loads of room for us to spread out. Lots of fun games and books for the kids. Well equipped kitchen. I also recommend the local Indian, Saheb’s! Would definitely come back here if the chance arises!

We loved our stay. BLISSFUL!!! Something for us at all. Spacious enclosed garden. Ideal for the dogs. For a visit to the beach ( with small children or older dogs) it is best to take the car because it is still a bit of walking to the sea. Thanks to Isabelle's tip, also went to the quieter side of the beach as we don't like the crowds so much. And also much quieter for our dogs. We will definitely be back!

In a pretty quiet corner of greenery with lots of promising fruit trees, Véronique's pretty and large house welcomed us warmly. The decor is very nice, cozy and cozy; the comfortable beds and the kitchen is extremely well-equipped. We often come to Mons and this house will be our election lodge. Thanks Veronique!

3 of us seniors from Ireland stayed here. The number 63 bus is two minute walk and also a convenience store. 63 bus takes you straight to and from central station Brussels. Bus was never crowded. Amaury was a very helpful host, he advised us on where to visit. He answered all my many questions patiently and quickly. The apartment was bright and clean with just basic bedroom furniture. The kitchen is well equipped and living area is lovely. The apartment is on floor 3. There are two lifts but it’s not a difficult climb. Travel for seniors is €8.30 return on any journey inside Belgium provided you return the same day. We explored Brussels, we visited Ghent, Antwerp, Louvain, Namur, Dinant and Mechelen in the 7 days. The trains were spotless and never overcrowded. The cream on the cake was when our MEP Ciaran Mullooly brought us on a 3 hour tour of the European Parliament. Thanks again to Amaury for his kindness and helpful ways. We had a wonderful visit to Belgium

Beautiful apartment, wonderful sea views and an extremely comfortable bed with luxurious bedding. Thoroughly recommend!

No negative comments at all. Said was communicative and friendly. Apartment exceeded expectations and was even better than the pictures. Everything you could possibly need and more: clean, well-equipped, central location, quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Lots of local shops and cafes within walking distance. Perfect base for exploring Brussels.

Magali is a warm host with great orderliness and breathtaking facilities on offer. Clean, tidy and ready for easy arrival. The accommodation is equipped to relax, cook and caress the eye with its elegant aesthetic. Perfect address in the heart of the action, where there are many restaurants and cafes, a few steps from the Arc de triomphe. Yet with maximum tranquillity in the courtyard. Thank you very much for this pleasant stay.

The location was so quiet considering how close to the Arc de Triumph we were. Easy to walk to the Metro and explore many parts of the city (I would recommend the Argentine Metro over Charles de Gaulle by the Arc which was much busier and hectic). A local boulangerie, Boucherie and coffee shop along with many restaurants to choose from). Having the toilette and wash area separate was very nice with 3 people staying in the apartment. We ended up not using many of the amenities (dishwasher, washer, stove or cook too) but nice to have available. And while the kitchen was small, we still ended up able to have 3 people standing in it for a late evening snack). While the bedrooms are small, the beds are comfortable and the large closet was needed and used for our belongings, There are stairs but easily manageable. While we did have one issue, Nicholas was responsive and helpful. I would return in the future.

I wish I had found this place at the beginning of my stay to spend all my time there. The accommodation is carefully decorated, the garden is very pleasant and the host is incredibly kind and thoughtful. I'll be back to see you for sure. Thank you for everything!

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely shepherd’s hut! The hut itself was modern, spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable getaway. The host went the extra mile by leaving us a welcome bottle of champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch. Throughout our stay, they were incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The peaceful countryside setting was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy retreat. I’ll definitely be back!

Many thanks to our friendly approachable hosts Mary and Mick for a very enjoyable recent stay in their garden room. A home baked loaf scones and a selection of breakfast cereals very kindly provided. Such a great stay! The cabin was brilliant and so peaceful. Lovely sitting out by the fire pit listening to the owls when it got dark. The outdoor space was great and our daughter loved running around and enjoying the swings etc that John kindly said we could use. John couldn't do enough for us with lots of recommendations for pubs, day trips and outings. So friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Stay out of time in a cozy and atypical little shed. The place is beautiful and a very serene atmosphere especially at sunrise with the mist. Magical! And the Nordic bath was very relaxing. If you like to be out of place, this is the place to go. Maybe see you next time with more sunshine.
