Don't hesitate, stop and enjoy Christine is a great person, very welcoming, very friendly, very attentive, a TOP hostess Despite catastrophic weather, we felt very good in this beautiful house, comfortable, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, frankly like at home Very good quality bedding, everything available (bed linen, towels, coffee, cleaning products, even sauces in the fridge, etc.) Beautifully sized rooms, with a bathroom (jet shower) Need we say more? Oh yes, the large garden and the beautiful terrace, where, despite the weather, we were able to have an aperitif. A short night due to our tight schedule. But the place is enchanting, comfortable and secluded quiet. Too bad it rained, not possible to test the outside.

House in perfect condition, perfectly renovated and secluded. The stay was perfect and Patrick was very responsive. We will undoubtedly be back.

The house has lots of charm and we had a good night there. Nothing is missing: towel, sheet, coffee and tea including Poitevin cakes offered by Isabelle😋. In short, everything was perfect.

Suitable for 1 or 2 nights for a family or more for two There is only one large room. The situation in relation to the futuroscope is ideal. Pets are allowed with the consent of the owner. There is a walking path 2 minutes walk away, that's perfect. Overall we had a nice stay.

We spent three days in this place, with friends, four couples. Very nice living room where we were able to have a good time around an aperitif, facing the wood stove. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Kitchen is large and well equipped. The area is peaceful, very quiet. Possibility to play pétanque for amateurs, in the path along the house. The pool was clean, and the sun loungers were perfect. Possibility of long walks from the house, in the countryside. A very nice renovation, with a very nice decor. Great place to spend time with friends and family.

Kath was a super host, and has done a wonderful job renovating the house. The setting is picturesque and an all around great country escape.

One of the best rental properties we have ever used for all sorts of reasons. Nicola was an excellent host who was always very responsive and helpful. The house is set away from a tiny village in a quiet part of the region but this was perfect for us. Lots of space for our two children to play in. The property has been appointed beautifully. I would not hesitate returning.

The house is very nice, very well-equipped. We had a lovely stay, very quiet. Nearby tours and hikes are available. Rebecca was always responsive to our questions.

We fell in love with this cute little house, equipped with every comfort. The environment is very quiet and the host is very responsive. Shops a few km away, including the Bel Air brewery that I recommend 😀 All in all it was a great stay in a great place, I highly recommend it.

We chose Janine and Mario’s cottage for our 4 week stay as we didn’t know the area and thought we’d like to try Limousin. We chose Janailhac only because it has a depot de pain and a small bar restaurant (both very welcoming)! In reality it far exceeded our hopes. Janine and Mario are great, friendly, kind and supportive hosts who are determined to give their visitors the best possible stay. They provided lots of helpful information about the many interesting and historic villages and restaurants and markets largely within a 25 mile radius so plenty of places to visit. Janailhac is a tiny, pretty, friendly farming village of beautiful rolling fields (and a SuperU at 4 miles). Quiet nights and clean air meant we slept better than in years. The cottage is large and comfortable with a pellet boiler heating system so we were never chilly plus a large open fire place and 2 great hot showers. Well stocked for children with toys, high chair, cot and even a buggy. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The house provided us with everything we needed! It was very cosy, nicely decorated and clean! All kinds of equipment to cook, basics such as coffee and milk and other snacks and drinks were also available upon our arrival, we felt so welcome! The message on the blackboard was heart-warming;-). There were all kinds of extras such as a whole collection of DVDs and books, toys for kids all ages, ... The pool was magnificent, just big enough for a refreshing dive or just having fun in the water. The garden was also very nice, well equipped (and safe for kids!), the patio next to the barn very cosy and relaxing! Last but not least, I would like to give a special thanks to Lesley, the lovely house keeper, who provided us with everything we needed (and quickly!), she made us feel very welcome. A beautiful castle that has retained its authenticity. Some may find the "hunting trophies" decoration a little too much. Nevertheless, they are only in passageways and not in the rooms, which is absolutely not disturbing. The exteriors are superb, with a big crush on the pool area where we spent half of the stay.

Bettina and John were truly delightful hosts. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived., including our dog. We were late asking about a possible evening meal, but Bettina didn’t flinch and produced a delightful and filling 3 course meal and wine. We would definitely stay again when we are passing. Thank you both for your friendly and engaging hospitality.

Thank you for a very relaxing stay. We found the gîte to be exactly as described, with all the amenities needed. The area is very pretty and we enjoyed exploring for the few days we were here. Peaceful and pretty area.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was a surprise gift for my partner's 30th birthday. Jean-Michel was lovely, responsive and helped us with any queries we had really quickly. It's such a beautiful home and we were sad to leave! Would recommend 100% and hope to visit again in the near future. Thank you 😊

We had a fun time at La Mignonne. The place is very quiet, with several walks / hikes nearby. Nature is very beautiful. The small house was very nice, with the ideal size for 2.

Evening arrival, good explanation from our host. We were just passing through so we didn't have time to enjoy the surroundings. We had a good quiet night for 4 and the space is big enough for everyone. I recommend it.
