Guesthouse vacation rentals in Peterborough

Unfortunately, my stay was less than 24 hours as I was in the area for a friends event but the accommodation was good and had everything I needed. It was clean and well equipped. Sandra was a friendly and responsive host. The village is very pretty with a very inviting looking pub! I wish I could have stayed longer.

Great location if you're wanting to be in the heart of Cambridge. I will say the location is right near a pub so if you're looking for peace and quiet, the weekend is not the time to go. But if you don't mind a bit of noise, the room 14 we stayed in was lovely, had a great kitchen and bathroom - would be good for duo or couple looking for a fun weekend in Cambridge.

We had a lovely few days and everything was as expected. Sophie was available throughout our stay but really everything was working and we were happy just enjoying the space and comfort.

Stayed here for 8 weeks while on placement. Great location, close to hospital park and ride. The room was perfect and had everything I needed. It was private and there was plenty of room. Would happily stay again.

We had a very busy schedule and ended up only staying at Maria’s annex to sleep in. It was perfectly adequate for our needs and would have been pleasant enough had we been there in the daytime as the annex has reasonable privacy and its patio backs onto a large garden which is a bit of a sun trap. Maria was very happy to accommodate any requests and would have made up an additional bed for us if we had asked her. (we found the double bed a little small for us as we are of a more “ sturdy” build ! But we managed just fine .) We also enjoyed meeting Mika , Maria’s cat, who was very friendly and liked hanging out with us! We would choose Maria’s annex again.

We had a great stay at this little lodge. It was beautifully clean and very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, with beautiful bedding and towels. Perfect place for much needed relax and chill out. It was so quiet too!! Great bonus was having air conditioning upstairs and down! Angela was an excellent host, very welcoming and thoughtful, a lovely little gift when we arrived. I think I can say it was perfect!!

We had a very relaxing stay, whilst there was a variety of restaurants nearby and beautiful scenery we chose to stay in most of the time in the cosy loft. A great nook to binge movies and play games with friends by the fire. Lovely hosts and pictures provided of the propery are very accurate. 100% recommend for a chill weekend and 100% stay again.

I booked Drake Lodge as a birthday getaway for myself and my best friend, looking for some peace and tranquility away from our Husbands and children for the night and that is exactly what we got. The lodge is set in a private, beautiful little garden, meaning we could relax in the hot tub and chat happily. Elizabeth was a fantastic host, she has really put a lot of love and attention to detail into the inside of the the lodge, ensuring we had everything you could possibly need for an night away from home. Everything was well thought out and the interior was so cosy. We have left feeling happy and relaxed ☺️ We will definitely we back!

First of all what a lovely host, very welcoming and made us feel at home. The accommodation was spotless in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our stay including our dog. We found the booklet very handy showing local walks and places to eat. Highly recommended.

Second time here, just as good as the first! Rachel is always available to help and puts lovely touches into making you feel right at home. Would recommend to anybody, and already have started!

We had an amazing weekend here, the accommodation was comfortable, spotless and in a very quiet location. We would definitely come back again and would recommend it to our family and friends. It was the perfect place to spend a weekend away as newlyweds

We had a wonderful couple of nights in the Hayloft. It has been tastefully done up with wonderful facilities. It is so peaceful there. Emily was very friendly whilst giving us our privacy. There's plenty to do nearby with a National Trust property, local woods and plenty of country pubs. I would thoroughly recommend.

We really enjoyed our one night stay at Coleman’s Cottage. The place was beautifully decorated and was immaculate. The hosts provided great communication prior to our stay and allowed us flexible checking in as we were going to be arriving later in the evening. The hosts left some lovely touches throughout the property including snacks, bottles of wines and even home comforts such as hot water bottles! Due to them not having a booking the following day, we were very grateful to hear that we could have a later check out time. Both beds were very comfortable leading to a great nights sleep! Local information was provided which told us about a local farm shop where we collected our lunch! The village of Great Easton was lovely and picturesque. We enjoyed a lovely stroll through on the Sunday morning! We were very grateful for the time taken to produce local walks with maps. Had we have been staying longer, we most definitely would have followed some of these and explored the area!!

Stayed here for a couple of days for a little getaway while I was working remotely & it was just what I needed. The place was cosy & I felt at home which was lovely 😊 The weather was sunny at times too & it was lovely listening to the birds in the beautiful garden. Allison was always quick to reply & very helpful. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for letting me stay in your cosy little gem 😊

Thank you for a lovely stay. An excellent location and the accommodation is even better than the pictures show. A large stylish space with everything you need. Set in beautiful grounds. I recommend looking on Google street view to find the entrance. Quite a lot to do nearby with local pubs and holiday park.

We’ve just returned from a couple of nights stay in Cambridge in Harriet’s beautiful apartment, which is stylishly decorated, well equipped, comfortable and homely. It was perfect for two. Within an easy and pleasant 20 mins walk into the city centre, both day or night for shopping and eating out. Harriet is a super host and left lots of helpful info, was easy to communicate with and provided clear instructions on everything (including how to operate the tv, much appreciated). I will surely re-book when we visit Cambridge again and highly recommend staying here.

Karen's place is a perfect hideaway. Comfortable bed with quality bedding (cotton duvet/ down comforter & pillows). Quiet at night, window opens to allow a fresh breeze, birds singing in the morning!

Jacqui's place was just what I needed and Jacqui herself was lovely. The house is set in lovely grounds with easy parking and upside down living. Jacqui is friendly and accomodating. The house itself is just ride for one or a couple, being cosy but spacious. Everything was as described, clean and tidy and the washing machine was welcome. There were lovely touches such as tea/coffee box and it was dressed for Christmas, which made it even more welcoming. I would definately go back.

Beautiful barn conversion wihin stunning grounds, and lots of lovely peaceful walks on the doorstep! Richard and family were great hosts, met us on arrival, plenty of local recommendations, and helpful throughout our stay. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Thank you.

We had weekend tickets for the Glenn Miller Twinwood Festival and we stayed at Dolly which was an easy drive in our 1937 MG TA which we were able to securely park off road over night. Dolly is a lovely little cottage, fully equipped and modern but still characterful. The check in and out were easy and the hosts provided lots of information in advance and at the cottage. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was lovely and warm. We enjoyed our stay.
