It was a super quiet stay. It is a perfect place to disconnect. Everything was perfect and very neat. The house is beautiful and is decorated just like the environment. Nature surrounds us. The materials of the house are pure and in symbiosis with nature. Host Cheila is a sweetheart. We love everything: the house, the jacuzzi, the horses, the birds. Cheila was super friendly and proactive with our Booking. I recommend it without hesitation. Thank you ❤️

Cannot say enough about this place, its everything it says and lots more. The ladies that service the property along with preparing breakfasts were simply awesome. Aurora's chocolate cake was a hit, and we had it for dessert and breakfast! The location and views are postcard perfect and that comes with some nervous driving to get there, but once you know the quirks really not that bad, just be careful. Highly recommending this to friends that are planning a trip to this beautiful part of the world.

Excellent stay for several families with kids. The estate is beautiful and well maintained, the pools are nice to cool off in during a heat wave. The hospitality is perfect. The price in season may be scary at first but the house, the estate and the kindness of the employees justifies it. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks Inès (and Angela)

The stay was excellent: The house, the impeccable pool, the surroundings, the vineyards, and the kindness and excellence of the hosts. The vacation days we spent here were ideal. The best on the route. We were next to Amarante, which pleasantly surprised us, and other cities to visit, 1 hour drive away. Thanks Osvaldo and Magdalena and family for being such good hosts!

Manuel and Rosaria are lovely and very considerate people, who anticipate the possible needs of the tenants of the cottage. It was very easy for us to communicate with them despite the language barrier. When we arrived, we were able to taste Portuguese specialties. The cottage is very well-equipped, very clean and very conveniently located for visiting northern Portugal. The property is beautiful, with different spaces, garden, pool, vines and animals. I would highly recommend this rental. Thank you very much to Manuel and Rosaria for hosting us.

Absolutely loved Beatriz's place! We stayed in 4 different Airbnb's in Portugal on this trip, and Beatriz's place was our favorite by far. The listing pictures don't even show it as nice as it actually is. Well equipped, in a beautiful town, and the region is stunning. Highly recommend it, and we would love to come back again!

Lovely 2 night stay to break up a long motorhome tour of Portugal and Spain. Luís’s place was perfect for us and our two dogs. It’s set in beautiful countryside with lots of local walks. The house is quite remote but has everything you need and is very well maintained. Logs are provided for the wood burner which was an added bonus and a local baker delivered bread to our door. Luis was a very helpful and welcoming host. It was lovely place to stay. Thank you, Luís.

A group of friends and I stayed during Holy Week. He was always attentive and available for whatever we needed, the house was very nice and cozy; the property was spectacular, a shame the rain prevented us from using the pool, with hosts like this it's a pleasure to travel, 100% recommended. The location is perfect, with places to shop and visit nearby, as well as a pharmacy. In addition to the fantastic service, they provided us with the phone number in case we needed anything and sent us links to places to see in the area. Everything was fantastic, we will definitely be back🥰

The house is very well located has beautiful views. Manuela's attention was 10, everything was very clean and tidy

Proximity to the Douro River with views up and down the valley and outdoor spaces including the wonderful swimming pool with great views and barbecue area made for a very relaxing holiday. There is no Aircon but thick granite walls and open shutters allow the natural breeze to keep the house cool even when it's 35C plus outside. I think I left a board game called Genius Square behind and wish it to remain there. have a good if you stay.

Everything was perfect even the small details. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. The inside and outside of the property were really well maintained and the swimming pool was an added bonus in a hot sun weather’sday! Our stay was absolutely amazing! Miguel was fantastic with communication from start to finish, always prompt and helpful with any questions we had. The accommodation itself was beyond our expectations – it truly felt like a home away from home, with everything we could possibly need. The amenities were perfect for a family getaway. Our children had endless fun with access to the spacious garden, beautiful pool, the serene lake, and even paddleboards – we couldn’t have asked for more to keep them entertained! The location was ideal as well. It’s tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area that made it easy to relax and unwind. We left feeling recharged and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect escape!
