The apartment was easy to find. The reception was very kind. The apartment is very clean and matches the published photos. A clean kitchen and bathroom. When you enter the garden, you are in a very idyllic environment. Everything is laid out and maintained with a lot of love. It is a very quiet environment. Here I can really say I felt welcome and at home right away. I will be happy to come again.

Truly an idyll. If you are looking for peace, this is the place to be. The small cottage with the large garden and various seating areas, quiet, private, very clean, and a fireplace for cooler temperatures, very cozy. Eat meals in nature and listen to the chirping of the birds or the cranes on the neighboring meadow, cycling, swimming or hiking, everything is possible. Meat, even water buffalo, from the farm diagonally opposite (Fridays), eggs and jam from opposite. For bulk shopping you have to drive a little, either Penzlin (6 km) or Neustrelitz (14 km), but everything is easily doable. Many manor houses, partly still dilapidated, old cultural land. Would love to come again. Friedegard and Axel, a big thank you, we felt very well taken care of.

We had a lovely weekend with friends here. The swimming spot can be easily reached in 15 minutes on foot, at the other end of the lake (20 minutes by car) you can easily rent canoes and pedal boats. What you should know beforehand is that many buildings of the village were built as a planned settlement of the Nazis (e.g. the history is explained at an information board at the church). If that's bothering you, you may want to stay somewhere else. We didn't know, but we had a great time here. Iris was always quick to respond to inquiries.
