Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Penarth

Suzanne and Mark were very friendly, gave us a small booklet containing all the local go to's. Being greeted by their 2 dogs at the gates was always a warm welcoming. The welcome package was a very thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful house very easy walk through the park to the nearby shops. Everything you could need for a weekend away handy and even a shop across the road for groceries! Good communication about the trip and real pleasure to stay here

Valentina’s place was perfect for walking in the national park and getting to lots of places around Aberdare. The place was very tidy and well laid out with all the amenities you need. Great communication from Valentina with useful info about the surrounding area and things to do. Overall a great accommodation.

Beautiful place. The views, especially with the sun shining, were amazing, and the cottage itself is lovely. We had everything we needed and even more than expected. Lee is a super-friendly host, great at communicating, and anticipated our needs before we even asked. The check-in was more than flexible and easy. I’d definitely recommend visiting here. This was great for our rugby trip to Wales. We chose Pontneddfechan as we are actually from the nearby village of Cwmgwrach, but now live in the Lake District in Cumbria. 5 of us stayed here and were very happy with the location, in close proximity of everything we needed. We do this trip every 2 years. so hopefully see you again then . thank you

Loved staying here. It is on a quiet street, close to a park and the river. The cottage is really well equipped and designed, with everything you need for a long weekend. There’s a wood burner and other heating if you need it - very cosy and secure!

An outstanding property in the heart of the mountains. clean, crisp and easily accessible. Gorgeous garden that went on and up forever with many wonderful surprises and views. Outstanding value that will receive further bookings, as we were visiting family just over in Treherbert. Thank you very much for a great stay.

A great place for an outdoor family holiday. We loved exploring the beautiful waterfalls and even went for a very cold swim in the river! Would recommend the white horse for food and a great friendly atmosphere, great if you’ve got a dog with you. The caves at abercraf also well worth a visit. Lovely cottage run by lovely people. Lovely stay at Tors Park would highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit north Devon. Great location and easy access to many walks in the area. The apartments have absolutely everything you will need and the sauna and cold plunge were a nice addition. Although the cold plunge was unserviceable when I was hoping to use it.

Jen’s apartment is a great place to stay in.Simple and easy to get into.Kept in contact throughout stay if there was anything we needed. Lovely clean apartment ,comfy beds and big front room.Everything needed is there and the added bonus of a driveway included on the side of property to use. There are shops 2/3 min walk round corner, Train station is 10min walk also. Ideal position as only a 5/6 min walk straight down to seafront and the promanade. Thankyou again

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Liz's and would highly recommend if you're ever in Cardiff. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and we made use of it. I was also able to do some work with a desk and good internet connection. it was wonderfully decorated and we found ourselves distracted by all the artwork surrounding us. Liz was a fantastic host and we'd recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely stay here, peaceful tranquil surroundings. The lamb and goat kids were so cute to watch in the evenings. Host also extremely helpful. Lots of good recommendations we didn't have enough time to see them all! Super friendly. Will certainly return again

I highly recommend this property. It is a 5 minute walk from the Avenue. Great views. Everything was exceptionally clean. Very comfortable and warm. Amazing shower! Communication was excellent.

Lovely little hideaway just outside Cardiff minutes from M4 Great for us and our dogs everything we need just a few steps from a pub not that we went there as visiting family

we had a lovely stay there was everything you needed to make your stay comfortable flat had been refurbished clean and very close to beach and entertainment we will differently be back

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

First time in Cardiff with my family and what a wonderful place I found for to stay in for 2 nights. The property was exactly as it was shown on the photos with nothing hidden. The location is on a main road which was slightly a downfall with 2 young girls, they have double yellow lines so no parking in front and you have to go through the back to the driveway but besides this there was nothing I could fault on. Beautiful home with very large rooms, more or less every room had its own en-suite. Beautiful decor throughout and the colour combination matched throughout the whole place. Town centre a 7 min drive away and Barry Island 30 min drive. Simon, thank you for everything.
