The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

This attractive house is located in the middle of one of the most beautiful forests in Drenthe, far away from the daily hustle and bustle. Almost invisible from the road with spacious terraces and lots of privacy. Equipped with a sauna, hot tub, lounge area and veranda. An eldorado for those who love peace and nature, but equipped with all the comforts that make a stay so attractive. Enjoy titmice, robins, spotted woodpecker and squirrels. A location that is also attractive to visit in winter.

We have really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. The area is wonderfully quiet but everything you could need is also nearby (supermarket/restaurants). The cottage has more than enough amenities. The dog also enjoyed the large enclosed garden and the surrounding greenery. Sidenote for the tall people among us... the bath is fantastic! With my 1.85 m I even had space left! We will definitely come back again!

What a lovely stay we had in Vila Norg! Despite the fact that it rained a lot, we were not bored. What a wonderful and comfortable cottage, beautifully decorated, complete inventory, wonderful beds. There is a lot of attention and love in this beautifully renovated chalet, you notice everything. And with the rainy weather, the cupboard with (new) games was a godsend for our children! Too bad we couldn't sit outside because the terrace and the greenery around it look very cozy and cozy. Hopefully next time, because we will definitely come back!

Beautifully located in a quiet park in a wooded area. Because the garden was behind the location, you were wonderfully private. Everything was neat and clean and it was nicely decorated. All the necessities were present and it was very nice that a number of basics were also there (toilet paper, sugar and salt etc.) We enjoyed and would go back in a heartbeat!
