From the front door experience the feel of a traditional old village, stepping onto a pedestrian alley which leads you to restaurants, bars & small harbour still used by fisherman from the village. From the back door find yourself directly at the seafront, with the sound of the waves hitting the rocks. Enjoy sweeping ocean views from two of the three serene bedrooms & relax with a drink on the sun soaked patio.

Old Wine Villa

Welcome to Paradise! Come stay at our cozy Villa with a splendid Atlantic ocean view by the infinity pool! This house was first built in 1932 and since then it has been know as "Casa do Vinho Velho", "The Old Wine House". My great-grand mother used to tell stories about the old man "Vinho Velho" and his passion for his wine and agriculture. The house has been updated but we have kept old features, like an old brick oven in the kitchen and 3 stone rocks for vine hanging in the living room!

Próxima da Levada Nova e de percursos pedonais (Rabaçal, 25 fontes, Lagoas da Dona Beja e do Vento), também a 10 minutos (de carro) de uma praia de areia amarela, Museu de arte contemporânea da Madeira – Mudas, supermercado, restaurantes, padarias, urgências, farmácia.

Hikers Refuge

Located in Calheta this refuge is ideal for lovers of hiking, with an excellent view of the ocean, you can go 5 minutes walk to the starting point of the levada where you have two options east and west. You can go in 12 minutes by car the levadas of 25 Fontes one of the most beautiful and lovely levadas sought by the walkers. It is also 10 minutes from the beach of Calheta where you can find all that orecisa for your stay, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, etc ...
