Cabin vacation rentals in Palm Springs

We had a wonderful few days here! It was nice and cozy for our young kids and small dog. We enjoyed exploring Idyllwild and the location was great! Would stay again!

My wife Labri and I loved Meri’s cabin. It was the perfect place for a nice relaxing weekend away. We felt right at hime from the second we arrived. The soaking tub is super nice and a perfect place to wind down at night. The square hammock is a great place for star gazing. We didn’t end up using the firepit due to high winds but I’m sure it would be nice. The cabin has everything you need for a romantic getaway. The dirt road up to the place is very bumpy and you have to go pretty slow so be prepared for that. I recommend you bring all the food and drinks you need so you don’t have to go out a lot. The cabin is only 30 minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park, which is a must see. All in all the place is perfect and highly recommend you stay here.

Absolute magic. This trip was our opportunity to experience Idyllwild and Freewyld before we brought our family together there later this summer. It was amazing. Exactly as described, beautifully curated and truly built to help you disconnect from the chaos of real life. Modern conveniences and well thought out amenities really made it so that if you have to work like I did, you have everything you need from great WiFi to linens so soft I was searching for labels to buy for home. The crisp mountain air, the sound of the creek and the comfortable spaces that promote enjoying a disconnect have us counting down the days to return with our entire family and really experience the Live Wyld life for a four days. Don’t hesitate to book.

Josh and Don’s house is absolutely amazing! We come for a quick getaway and the place did not disappoint us ! Very well maintained and perfectly clean. Kitchen well stocked. It is the perfect place for a couple. Bed is very comfortable and the sheets are super soft. The hot tub was incredible ,we were able to relax and have a good time.The views at sunset and sunrise were impressive. Josh and Don were great hosts. They were so friendly and responsive. Would definitely come back in the future!

This was an ideal place for a relaxing weekend getaway! Great location, walkable to the village and to trailheads. A home away from home with everything we needed. Expectations and instructions were clearly communicated and Anna was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful stay. The fenced, MASSIVE backyard was fantastic for our dogs—they had the time of their lives. The interior was very spacious and perfect for our party. The game room with the ping pong table and projector were so much fun. Definitely would recommend!

April’s cabin was an excellent retreat for a long weekend. Close enough proximity to the idyllwild town to drive in 5 mins, but far enough away for privacy and peace. The property is large enough to feel like you have your own space and privacy with a well put together yard with clean and working hot tub and lawn games. The kitchen was clean and modern with everything you need to cook or enjoy a drink. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. We would stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice little getaway at Astrid’s cabin. The house has a lot of character with a fun, cozy vibe. It felt private but is also just a quick drive away from town. The bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds, and the upstairs loft is a great place to hangout and play board games or listen to records. The living room is also a nice to place to relax and watch tv. The house was very clean and contained all listed amenities. The hot tub was a lovely bonus, especially after a long day of hiking. It was clean, and the water was already set to a perfect temperature. It’s a great place to take in the beautiful surroundings. Astrid was very responsive, quick to answer any questions we had. She made us feel right at home. We look forward to coming back in the future with our kids and would certainly recommend her place to friends.

Excellent stay in this delightful cabin. The cabin was as described and was clean and very functional. What a treat to stay in a real log cabin! Only negative was that you are by windmills which means that there is a lot of WIND, which is not host's fault. The wind would howl at night so if you are a light sleeper, be sure to bring earplugs! The wind made everything harder, fire pit wouldn't stay lit, it was super cold getting to and from the hot tub, and even my luggage rolled off the deck! Overall we enjoyed our experience and felt the hosts were very communicative and kind.

Beautiful surroundings and great for the large group we had our for a work retreat! Could have used more towels, and other things like kitchen, cleaning and toiletries were hard to come by for an Airbnb, but the town market is pretty close by so you can pick up essentials. Some of the lights didn't work, the grill lighter didn't work, the pinball machine was not operational, some blinds were missing, and other things you'd expect to find in an old house. Still a great deal for the price and location!

We loved our stay at Jill’s cabin. The cabin was clean, the pool and hot tub were great, and the cabin has great views of the surrounding desert. We saw rabbits, a roadrunner (twice), and even coyotes out of the back window. Jill was friendly and proactive, and I would definitely recommend her cabin if you are planning a trip to Joshua Tree National Park. It is 10-15 minutes from the west entrance to the park.

Beautiful home and views! Host were responsive and gave clear instructions on how to arrive at the house for people who don’t have 4WD which was very appreciated and thoughtful! Hope to come back!

Just go!! You won’t be disappointed. I stay in a lot of Airbnb’s and this one has it all ….the details the owners have put into this amazing home can’t be overlooked and the amenities and the outdoor space to hang in a hammock, hot tub sit in the saloon or play corn hole .. the list goes on. We will be back!!

Very cozy and peaceful retreat place in a Johnson Valley. Super nice star gazing at night. The cabin is very clean and home feel. Host is super responsive even at late night to help us for questions. Hidden gem in the desert 🏜️

This is my second time staying here and it’s just as wonderful as I remember. Remote enough to have privacy and space from noise and might pollution and yet only a 10-15 min drive to downtown JT and the park. Such a great spot and will undoubtedly be returning if it’s available on our next trip into JT! Ryan is a fantastic host who is always quick to reply and easy to reach out to for questions. Highly recommend this awesome space!

This is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in and this is coming from a major traveler and trust me barely anything impresses me. However this house on mars felt like I was in a different world. The attention to detail, the dishes, the furniture, the bed sets, the bathroom I mean I could go on and on about this beautiful place. What didn’t they think of, I wish they could sell some of the items in the place because I wanted everything. I’m so happy I found this amazing space and I can’t wait to come back

This is the second time we stayed in this cozy home. We love this home very much because it is cozy, quiet, clean, and walkable to Village Center of Idyllwild. The check-in and check-out procedures are super easy, and the host always communicate very well with us via Airbnb app. Thanks to the host. We enjoyed the stay very much...We had coffee on the porch, walked around the town with our little dog, watched 2 movies, and enjoyed eating out! A perfect getaway weekend to celebrate our anniversary.

Great stay! Gary was very detailed with directions, instructions, and willing to support as needed. The cabin was plenty spacious for two, really enjoyed the large windows with views of the trees. Would stay here again if visiting the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Peaceful Pines! The cozy cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. The backyard is a huge blessing and allowed us to have some time together without our pups. Jay is a kind person and welcomed us when we arrived. We are hoping to make this an annual trip! Thank you Jay 🐾

Had a great time staying at Sarah’s house! Sarah was an amazing host and the home is so nicely done. Very peaceful and a short drive into town. The house had everything we needed and Sarah’s instructions and recommendations made things very comfortable.

Charming Cozy Stay in the Snow! We had a wonderful stay at this cute little Airbnb in Idyllwild! The space was perfect for two adults (and small pet-friendly too, which was a huge plus for us). The backyard is super big plenty of room to let your pup roam around. We visited during snowfall, and the whole experience felt like a winter wonderland. The home was warm, cozy, and just a short distance from the main village market. Super convenient for grabbing food or exploring local shops. Mario, our host, was incredibly attentive and responsive. He quickly addressed the small issues we encountered and made sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful getaway!

Thank you so much for letting my family and I make a home out of your cabin for a few days! We celebrated our youngest daughter’s 6th birthday while we were there.
