The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

A fabulous property. Mandy and Lino were excellent hosts. Lots of room and everything was provided. The heritage railway running next to the property made it extra special and nostalgic. The pool was warm and the outsidde space very welcome. We took our two whippets who loved the garden and the walk down to Broadsands beach through the fields. The decor is beautiful and every bedroom is different. Mandys art work is amazing and really adds to the character of the property. Parking is off road down a short driveway. A quiet spot, no traffic noise, just birds and the occadional chuff of a steam engine. I have a feeling we'll be returning one day. In two words, fabulous, relaxing.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

Mewstone is an outstanding property and Maria is a top notch host. The property description tells it all accurately except it understates the beautiful views across Dartmouth from the upper windows and balcony (which is a real sun trap). Maria told us the property was being cleaned early and she kindly offered us access from 12 noon which was handy. Oh and it was very clean. All the furniture, fittings, appliances, beds etc are of high quality. We had been told in advance that the shared pool heater had broken down which was a shame and Maria was very apologetic and keen to make amends. She is a very friendly and responsive host who genuinely wants her guests to enjoy their time at Mewstone. 2 minutes walk to the market square and shops and restaurants, another couple to the riverside. With the bonus of two parking spaces given the central location. As a couple with three young adults we loved Mewstone and are already talking about returning.

Absolutely stunning place. Louise was the perfect host answering every question I asked. The pool was a great hit with us adults and of course the children. The farm tour was lovely and Louise was very understanding when my little boy had a nose bleed whilst feeding the calves. I would highly recommend a stay at The Grange!

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

One of our best airbnb experiences to date. Warm and welcoming hosts who made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. The house was spotless and felt brand new, so many thoughtful details were included! Only one warning….you might fall in love with their beautiful dog Alfie!!!

What a perfect little stay and beautiful accommodation. Perfect location and very close to beach. Central location not too far from anything. Such a lovely family and Evelin and her family made this a fabulous stay. Will 10000000% be making a return. Spotlessly clean and beautiful interior design. it was a lovely home for our 3 nights exactly what we wanted, super friendly owners, walking distance to everything you needed, was the perfect location for us visiting family.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

We stayed in Candy's farmhouse annex for a long weekend with my parents-in-law, whilst down for a family event in Totnes. The location was perfect - such a short drive to Totnes, whilst being surrounded by wonderful countryside! We were given a great tour on arrival, of the annex and the huge garden, by Candy's husband Phil. The children felt immediately at home, and very much enjoyed exploring the garden and bouncing on the trampoline. The annex itself was spacious and perfectly comfortable, with plenty of hot water for great showers and heating so that we never felt cold, even when the evenings were chilly. We had a wonderful time playing boardgames in the evenings, and Phil was kind enough to bring over some extra games and comic books for the children, which they greatly appreciated. We had a really lovely time and would definitely stay there again in future! Thank you, Candy and Phil, for making us feel so welcome in your lovely home!

Bar Lodge is just stunning. The accommodation and decor were both great but it was the views from every level that it made it so very special (and a very friendly and inquisitive robin). Being on the south west coast path, we were expecting good walking but the friendliness of the tractor and ferry guys and other locals we met meant every outing was even better. Annie was proactive and accommodating from beginning to end and the property was clean and beautifully presented when we arrived. Thank you, we can't wait to come back!

Just had one of the most brilliant stays at "Little Spindles". A fantastic eco-built property situated down a quite lane with everything needed for a peaceful, relaxing time away. Inside, the property is just amazing; so clean and tidy, with top quality fixture and fittings and tastefully decorated. The garden area is mainly laid to lawn and is large and private, thanks to surrounding trees and shrubs. There's a little stream at the bottom of the garden and we were fortunate enough to see a kingfisher during our stay! It's close to the centre of Ashburton (lovely little place!) and ideally positioned for a wide variety of sightseeing and walking trips. Poppy is a great host and is always on hand to offer help when needed. We look forward to a return visit!

A wonderful stay in a lovely house. Immaculately clean with everything needed for a great stay. We felt right at home. The neighbours were friendly and helpful too. An awesome location for exploring Torbay with plenty of supermarkets and takeaways a short drive away. Would highly recommend Jason and Jo's place which is great value for money. You wouldn't even get a room in a Travelodge for that and here you get a whole house!

Simon and Charlie were fantastic hosts. Very responsive and helpful. The house was exactly as described in the photos and reviews. Kitchen is fully stocked with up to date appliances and utensils. We loved the drinks fridge. The house is perfect for four adults and well behaved dogs. We shall be booking again and have already recommended to our family and friends. Thank you.

As others have said, the cottage is a lovely place to stay. Great location and very peaceful. It's probably the best equipped cottage we've ever stayed in - everything has been thought of. The owners are kind and helpful but unobtrusive - just what you want. Definitely one to recommend.

Wow - what an incredible space. The house was just as described in the listing, close to everything and absolutely perfect for exploring Brixham and the surrounding area. CO-OP, Tesco, pubs restaurants all within a few minutes walk, and the local beach is close by as well. Parking was not as bad as we thought, though a steady hand is needed to navigate some of the narrower streets. We did find a spot right outside the house, and were able to find other spots less than a minute away on the surrounding streets on the occasions we did drive somewhere. Kath was an awesome host, and I honestly can't say anything negative about her or the property. 100% recommend to anyone looking to enjoy Brixham as a getaway for a weekend or longer

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

We really enjoyed our stay at Creek Haven, the accommodation was beautiful & everything provided was to a high standard. The views from the roof terrace of Dartmouth are really stunning. We all really enjoyed our time at Georginas coach house. It is the best Airbnb we have stayed in, very clean and modern with quality furniture and all the amenities we needed for our family trip. A fully equipped kitchen with every sort of appliance and equipment you could think of. A lovely cozy lounge with patio doors to a small garden, two separate bedrooms and a modern bathroom. Hope we can come back again sometime, thanks again for a great stay.

Amy and Jack have designed The Loft wonderfully. I got lots of design inspiration and even asked Amy where she got some things from. I stayed with my dog and we were very comfortable, I could happily have stayed longer. There is no garden or any views but the inside made up for this. I walked down into Dartmouth and got the Park & Ride bus back (never got charged). Was not going to attempt the hill back. The Loft is on a new build estate, which they are still building, however it’s still peaceful. One of the best AirBnBs I’ve stayed. Fresh milk, Prosecco and cookies on arrival. I will definitely return!

Julie waited for us at the property and gave us a lovely warm welcome, and a show-around. There was a welcome pack of goodies, and milk in the fridge so that we could have that all-important first cup of tea after a long haul. During our stay two of our party had a vehicle breakdown while out for the day, and we found ourselves in a pickle with keys. Julie kindly gave up some of her time to get an extra set of keys to us, and was so helpful and very understanding. We are eternally grateful to her for this. The property is lovely and homely, and I particularly liked the peace of the small garden. We would certainly come back.
