Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

Beautiful cottage with cosy but striking decor, really comfortable and cosy. Perfect for the six of us. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep a roast and the garden was small but perfectly formed. The local pub was a stones throw through a pretty village, with a really delicious menu. Only downside was no local shop for a pint of milk, loaf or emergency crisps. But I guess that may be tricky to sustain in second home areas. All in all a really comfortable cottage - thank you x

Katharyn and Ben were amazing hosts. Really friendly and helpful, the property is full of character, comfortable and with everything you need for a quiet country getaway. We loved sitting in the garden room at breakfast time and chilling in the hot tub in the evening sunshine. The beautiful beach of Beer, and the pretty fishing villages along the coast are no more than a 30 min drive away so it's a great place to base yourself for some exploring too. A wonderful find and highly recommended! Thank you!

Had a lovely few days away. Chris' cottage is very peaceful and had amazing views whilst relaxing in the garden. The cottage itself is very clean and homely. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking to come to Devon.

This is a fantastic place to stay and Emma and Kevin are the perfect balance of friendly while also giving you privacy. The whole place is so well equipped and the wood-fired hot tub is so relaxing, even in the rain! The location is fantastic for Dartmoor and Totnes, and the local pub is fab.

We were excited for Stonewalls from the minute we found the ad. Our hosts were amazing, always helpful and responsive, and the house itself was wonderful. Well equipped, clean, comfortable and really felt like a "home from home". The hot tub was immense, and absolutely made our holiday. We have friends in Torquay, so it worked well with day trips to Totnes, Plymouth and Torquay. We also had a wonderful meal at the Crabshell and wanders round Kingsbridge. Thank you so much again for a wonderful stay and we'll definitely be back 😊

Booked for a surprise birthday treat for my wife, when we arrived she was over the moon! Beautiful house, private garden with hot tub. Everything you need throughout & the most comfortable bed! Lovely treats of Prosecco & freshly baked bread on arrival, great touch! Alison & Jeremy were really friendly, responding quickly with any request. If the grandparents will take the kids again for a few nights we’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay in this lovely barn on this beautiful, friendly and welcoming farm. Piers and Sue were absolutely great hosts and we couldn’t have felt more welcome.

The Nook was a lovely cottage right in the centre of town close to all amenities, it was also quiet, the cottage had everything in it that you could wish for and the thought that has gone into it is exceptional especially regarding dogs. We were so grateful that Tania was able to accommodate us at very short notice. We will definitely be returning

BlackBerry cottage is a must stay. From the day we booked Andrea was super responsive and made us feel welcome before we even arrived. Check in was easy and Andrea met us at the property. Not only was the location idyllic but the accommodation was clean, comfortable and had a wow factor. We loved cooking in the kitchen which has everything you need for whatever you decide to cook. Both bedrooms were super comfortable and the bathroom done to a high standard. Felt like a boutique hotel. Our dog also joined us and he was very happy with the stone floors throughout the ground floor, dog bowls and enclosed garden and patio. We really enjoyed reading and drinking a coffee with the patio doors open taking in the Devon landscapes. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again. Thank you again Andrea.

We’ve stayed here a few times now and feel very much at home! A great locations, some fabulous walks to Bridford where you will find the Bridford Inn, which is very friendly and welcoming.

We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage. Gill made the whole experience extremely easy and peaceful. The house was well equipped. It was lovely to receive a welcome pack. Wish we could stay longer. We highly recommend it.

Wanted to come back as soon as we left! The cottage and its surrounding areas are absolutely stunning. Perfect for a relaxing getaway and a change of scenery. We were given a lovely recommendation for the Rugglestone Inn which we absolutely loved! Easy access to the moor and nearby village of Widecombe. The cottage is fully equipped with everything we could ever need. Not to mention its log fire which brought the whole place together as well as its comfy bed! We will be returning at some point in the near future! Can’t get enough of the place!

What an absolute gem. Tucked away down a quiet country lane and within easy walking distance of a beach this place was an absolute delight to stay in. Check in was a breeze and we found the property to be clean and well equipped, matching its online description perfectly. The property had a lovely garden with seating and was only a ten minute walk from Sidmouth donkey sanctuary. The property came with a useful information book with recommendations for places to eat which we used. A number of other well known south Devon coastal towns were only a short drive away and the property was only 30 minutes drive from Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast. Thank you for a lovely stay at The Hayloft. We were made to feel very welcome from the beginning and throughout. The hamper was lovely, the cottage cosy and the garden was amazing - the kids had a great time running around outside and in the games room, and the dog (who was on his first ever holiday) also loved all the space and freedom. We used the BBQ hut for my husband's birthday on the second night with some friends and their children and it was great to celebrate in a private space like that. The location was peaceful - it really felt like we were away from it all - but close enough to local attractions and beaches, we enjoyed trips to Dartmouth, Torquay, Paignton, Totnes and the River Dart Country park. Having the EV charger on site was a great benefit as it meant we could travel with the certainty that we could charge up on our return on each day. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and showed real care for us and our children. A lovely stay and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in Brixham, Ryan was a fabulous host very helpful, the house was clean and tidy and has a great view of the harbour, only a minutes walk into town.

Little Timbers is a wonderful retreat in the gorgeous village of Coffinswell. The accommodation provided everything we needed and more, and was very comfortable indeed. Tim and Chrissie are fantastic hosts, respectful of their guests privacy but always on hand for any questions and smiling faces when you see them in the garden. If ever we are back in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. top tip: book the Linny Inn (a short walk up the road) for dinner: you won't regret it!

Great place to stay if you want peace and quiet.

We had a lovely stay here. We visited as a family with our 8 month old and it was the perfect accomodation with all the facilities needed! The location was perfect, with lots of shops and restaurants and the beach right on your doorstep, as well as lots of places to visit a short drive away. Asy communicated well and checked that we were happy. The flat itself was clean, spacious and peaceful. The garden was also a lovely area to sit in. Thanks so much ☺️

I would definitely stay here again. The village is beautiful, peaceful and everyone seems so friendly. So many things to see within a short walk too. The cottage is immaculate and welcoming. This air BnB was perfect, location is within walking distance to the harbour and plenty of options for food. The house was clean and very modern. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Swallows Nest. Lucia and Dan met us on arrival and also left a card and bottle of bubbly for my birthday which I thought was very kind. We have a four year old and one year old so it’s not always easy finding somewhere suitable but Lucia kindly set up a cot for us and supplied a high chair. The upstairs is open plan with a gate across the stairs so very safe for our baby crawling. Our four year old absolutely loved being on a farm and going to collect fresh milk from over the road. It’s so peaceful day and night. It was our first time in this part of Devon and we were blown away by the landscape, pretty little villages and many beaches in such lovely unspoilt settings. We would love to stay again!
