A great place to gather the family both near and far for Christmas. Very easy to get to some great beaches, restaurants, the Malibu Pier and Adamson house, canyon hike.

First Brian is amazing! Our family stayed at Brian’s beautiful home while in town for our father’s memorial service. Although it was a somber occasion, this serene and welcoming space truly became a source of comfort and connection for all of us. Brian went above and beyond to make our stay special—he was incredibly responsive and made sure that any concerns we had were addressed immediately with care and kindness. The home is exactly as described: serene, peaceful, and filled with thoughtful touches. The tranquil rose garden and cozy outdoor fireplace provided a quiet retreat where we would gather, reflect, and share memories. While we didn’t get the chance to use the many beach amenities provided, the options were there—and we look forward to coming back under happier circumstances. This is more than just a vacation rental—it’s a home filled with warmth and peace. We recommend it every chance we get. Thank you, Brian, for everything. We will be back!

This space was exactly what I needed for my solo meditation weekend - a short walk to the beach and strand and yet so quiet and peaceful and clean. I's also romantic and would be a wonderful place for a couple's getaway.

Shirley's Long Beach house was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had! Location wise, you are only a few minutes from down town Long Beach and some great dining options, but you are also directly across the street from one of Long Beach's great public parks and you can get from the kitchen to the beach before your coffee even has time to cool off. There is a bit of traffic right outside the front door, but there was no honking and little revving when we were visiting. As for the amenities, they did a fantastic job of stocking the rooms with plenty of towels and any consumables you may need, including laundry detergent and coffee. They also provided some free waters and cookies which was very kind. The sheets and bed are the only areas that could use some improvement. The sheets were rather scratchy and the comforter was very warm for a room with limited air flow, but they were clean and pressed, so I can't complain too much. I can't recommend this place enough!!!

Great host, very responsive and pro-active. Location is really great with sea view. Nice size of bedroom and living area. Nice shower. Bess provided all necessary toiletries, like shampoo, conditioner, shower gels, etc… Furniture are a bit old but it remains comfortable. Cutleries, plates and glasses could be improved. There was only one glass for wine. I was alone, do it was ok, but still… Very happy overall and I am strongly recommending Bess place. Will gladly come back.

angela went above and beyond to accommodate the repeatedly changing dates of my business trip, it was super helpful. i loved that the beach was so close (3 min by walk). i really felt like at home - thank you for welcoming to your place.

This place was absolutely amazing! I rented so my son and I could check the university campus. My son is moving to Long Beach from NorCal and staying at Shawn’s place made me feel less scared about the move!

This is easily the favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Only reason I contemplated leaving a review, is because I don’t want others to fill the slots 😂😂 Will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the hosts!

A piece of heaven on earth! Regina’s home is perfectly located, offering stunning views from every window and beautifully modern decor. The linens and furniture are of high quality and extremely comfortable. It's evident that Regina curated each space with care and thoughtfulness. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials. Regina’s place is meticulously maintained, both inside and out. We loved exploring the grounds—there's beauty in every direction. Regina is a professional and gracious host; we felt at home instantly. She was very responsive, and her advice and recommendations were spot on. Regina’s home is truly special. My family and I can’t wait to return. If you're seeking a tranquil getaway, I highly recommend Regina’s place, The Horizon House.

We had a fantastic stay at Zev & Melissa Forrest’s place in Long Beach. The house was perfect for our group of three couples—spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was ideal, within walking distance to the beach and the Long Beach Grand Prix, which was a highlight of our trip. The kitchen was beautiful, and the living space was perfect for relaxing after a day out. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Ardie was very responsive and extremely accommodating. We were traveling for work and it was a very charming and elegant place to come home to after days of work. All of the furnishings and features were really nice. I would to come back to the Malibou Lake cabin, the scenery is beautiful and peaceful.

Long Beach is my hometown but it's been some time since I've been back.. Jack's place was a lovely way to get reacquainted with my old stomping grounds. It's a quick easy walk to the beach, there are scooters and bikes to rent and tons of things to do, or put your toes in the sand and do nothing at all. The neighborhood is quiet with a great vibe, the entire city is lovely.. plenty of activities for kids and adults, lots of local restaurants and bars. Jack's place made me feel so at home, with a garage for guaranteed parking, altho street parking was also easily accessible. Already planning my next trip back, one thing I won't have to research is lodging... can't wait to book with you again. Thank you!

What a gorgeous home and the design along with the lighting, configuration of the house, the flow is very zen. Quality furniture and indoor/outdoor spaces very well maintained. Beautiful views of the ocean and mountains are calming listening to the waves. Open and well designed with great atmosphere including the stunning artwork, appliances, and a very safe environment to enjoy in. Well done Helena! The gardens are immaculate and the pool, kitchen, bedrooms, closets and bathrooms are all very beautiful. First class is this stunning house. Scott's place was perfect for a family! It's a quick drive to Redondo Beach and is ideally located to enjoy the LA area. We were 30-40 minutes to Disney and 30 minutes to the Long Beach Aquarium. By far, the best attributes of the house were the outside grill and hot tub area. The backyard is fantastic for a family that wants to spend time outside. We grilled on the Weber grill and enjoyed the hot tub, which is humongous!

My wife and our kids (21, 15, and 8) just spent the last the last 4 days at James's house. it was BEAUTIFUL! Can't beat the sunset. conveniently located walking distance from a store and Starbucks. and 3 min from the beach! beautiful ocean views from the upstairs balconies. fully stocked kitchen with all the needs and Cleaned to perfection when u arrive. James was an amazing host (Our favorite one so far.) responsive, funny, understanding, and completely laid back. 100% will get this house again when wanting to return to the malibu area! Beautiful, peaceful space for what we needed - a respite from LA city life. This is a rare find where the photos looked like the house. Lovely home, super comfy beds, super tidy, all the amenities we needed. The walk to the beach is very close, essentially across the street and down stairs. The beach was great, the third day beach patrol shared the beach was closed, but we still got some good time in earlier in the day, and people were still taking walks throughout the day, so no idea why BP was attempting to enforce. Michael and Brita are very responsive and kind - excellent hosts. We would stay here again!

It was a lovely place to stay for our work trip, very walkable and beautiful neighborhood. The home is easy to settle into and the kitchen has everything you need!

Rosie's place was wonderful - a perfect location in Redondo, well equipped, nicely decorated and perfectly clean. She was easy to communicate with and made our trip a breeze.

Sarah and her husband were fantastic hosts ! super responsive . My boyfriend and I wanted to get away and it was exactly what we wanted. the views were spectacular. If you're looking to get away this Is the perfect private getaway . The location makes you feel like you actually left California and into a private beach-jungle hide out. Everything inside is contemporary and the best part is the beds are amazing ! Will definitely be returning !

We will definitely stay here again when visiting Hermosa Beach.The house was lovely,the location great(within a few blocks of the beach). We were able to ride our bikes to coffee and found a cute French bakery where we enjoyed cherry cream cheese croissants and lattes. The pictures could not do justice to the view of the ocean from the roof where we sat around the fireplace enjoying the stars.There was plenty of room for our family of four adults and grandsons. Tracy was good about contacting me before the trip and once we got to her place. She was very pleasant and helpful. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation. Hope to stay there next summer.
