Oceanfront Family Getaway - 8BR/6BA/5Acres

BarbieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The most beautiful place, exceeding all expectations. The views are spectacular. We breathed in peace and tranquility. A fabulous place to celebrate my 80th birthday with the whole family -- 16 of us. Everyone was comfortable in the space. In addition to being the perfect host, Samantha provided surprise extras which was such fun! Just a few of the highlights: S'mores at the firepit, lobster dinners, seals, bald eagles and fireworks. She made our stay truly memorable. My family gives the place the highest recommendation.

Driftwood Cottage

Colleen is a wonderful host who was kind enough to bring us a lovely breakfast, local and even treats for our pup. The view from this seaside cottage is nothing short of spectacular and you’re right on the doorstep of some of the most scenic coastlines of Acadia National Park. The cottage is rustic but we felt right at home and were so touched by all of the thoughtful extra touches like snacks, fresh cut flowers, and a fridge stocked with water, sports drinks, and cheeses. It really was a treat and we hope to return soon!

Cottage on an island on the end of a peninsula N

RuthRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Erik and Amy were behind the scenes hosts, having everything ready for us, leaving wonderful directions and creating such unique cabins and a peaceful setting. Although we only saw Amy once when she was mowing grass we knew we could call or text them any time if there were questions or concerns (which there were none). It was a perfect location for a quick long weekend get-away. We will definitely plan on stayin here again!!

Our stay at Linda’s was perfect. The setting was quiet, secluded, peaceful and relaxing. Easy access to Camden, Rockport and Rockland—the perfect location. Very clean with many amenities. Linda met us on arrival and showed us around. She had fresh fruit and muffins for us and gave good restaurant and activity recommendations. She was friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. She is a super host and a super lady! We highly recommend her and will stay with her again on our next visit to Camden!

"Eagles Nest" Waterfront Cottage

AndreaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Eagles Nest is an amazing space! We stayed for 4 days and didn't want to leave. The view is beautiful and you must wake early to watch the sunrises. We even saw an eagle. Shannon was very responsive to all messages and super helpful when we needed to leave a different rental property (not one of hers). The home is immaculate. I can't say enough about The Eagles Nest and Shannon.

Cozy Coastal Cabin

BrittanyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Dianne’s place was a quintessential Maine cabin with all the right feels that worked great for our family (kids ages 9, 7, & 4). The walk to the private beach became part of our morning and evening daily routine. We loved climbing the rocks, exploring the shore, listening to the quiet, trying to spot wildlife, and wondering at the stars. The location was great, with plenty of family friendly activities- The Happy Clam restaurant was awesome for kids with a playground outside, Marshall Pt. Lighthouse to explore, Camden to walk around, Mt. Battie to hike, fresh water lake swimming at Barrett’s Cove, American Flatbread for dinner with outside kids games, Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse with a mile long jetty walk out, Owls Head Lighthouse to explore, Owls Head General Store for lunch outside (burger rated #1 in Maine - worth it) & Crescent Beach for ocean swimming. We had a beautiful time here- breathing in nature and experiencing the beauty of coastal Maine.

I had an amazing stay at the Islesboro Boathouse! The location was incredibly quiet and peaceful — a perfect getaway if you're looking to relax and recharge. Oceanfront Rockport Cottage #5 - Oakland Seashore

PamelaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The cottage was very charming and my husband and I really enjoyed the location right on the ocean. It was great to have the outdoor fire pit, separate iron grill, picnic table and the plastic adirondack chairs. Inside, just a few minor things would have helped - a small glass measuring cup, more wall hooks in the bathroom, bedroom and open entry way closet, and a wall mirror in the bedroom. Perhaps a couple of steak knives would have helped, but I had my Swiss army knife. Also a corkscrew and cheap, even plastic wine glasses. Nevertheless, we would stay her again in an instant. It is very close to stores in Rockland, with 2 supermarkets 5-10 minutes away. It is convenient to exploring Camden to the North as well as Owls Head to the South and Rockport and Rockland in between. The cottage is small and simple but wonderfully updated with excellent small appliances. All eating utensils are new. We only had to use the heating unit one morning, and it quickly heated the main room.

Oak Grove Cottage at Sennebec Pond

RyanRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I have zero complaints about Gordon's home. Everything was accurately described and the property was beautiful! it is right on the pond and the pictures do it justice. Yes, it's a little small and gets cold in the winter but it's worth it if you want to stay somewhere pretty without breaking the bank. Also, he has 3 heaters. We didn't leave them on because we were gone a lot of the time but it probably would have stayed warm if we did. This is really a great property for a couple! Highly recommended.

Tall Spruce Cottage

RandyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Centrally located in a laid back portion of Maine’s central coast there is plenty to enjoy in a short drive yet the neighborhood is private and peacefully silent at night. Marianne (host) is available for local knowledge and went beyond expectations to make my wife and I comfortable and welcome. Cozy cottage is perfect for a couple and a pup with everything we needed. We’ll be back.
