From the "auction house", adjacent to the Beemster World Heritage Site, and the Mijzen nature reserve, you can enjoy beautiful walks and cycling. Or find peace on the water with our canoes, recommended! Our atmospheric cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials from the old auction of Avenhorn. Conveniently located 10-40 km from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But certainly also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to forget, the coast of Noord Holland.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Wat leuk dat u geïnteresseerd bent. We geven u graag tips: Kom kijken bij de museum molen, heerlijk wandelen, fietsen, varen, vissen of rij in 30 min naar het strand. Slaapt u in de extra lange elektrische boxspring of gezellig in het stapelbed? Zelfs de bank kan uitgeklapt worden als slaapbank voor een relaxte tv avond+massagestoel. Het is altijd al onze droom geweest om een B&B te beginnen. We zijn heel dankbaar dat we dit historische pand hebben mogen kopen, opknappen en u mogen verwelkomen.

Heb je behoefte aan privacy, rust, ruimte, off grid, natuur in alle comfort, dan is onze Float exact wat je nodig hebt. Je hebt het eiland voor jezelf. Midden in de natuur. Je kunt vissen, zwemmen, suppen, zeilen, of gewoon even helemaal niks. Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

Modern water villa; stay on the water

Relax in this unique and fantastic split-level home: lots of light, space and cozy outdoor terraces. From the decking, you jump into the water, or you sail away with the paddle board or with the rowing boat! From the large kitchen, you can look out over the water. With a staircase down, you enter the living room where it is wonderful to spend time, and you are on the same floor as the water. One level lower are the bathroom and bedrooms, and you are "face to face" with the water.
