The accommodation is atypical and authentic. Conveniently located near the square and the lagoon. The space can be noisy at times, so if you have trouble sleeping with noise, plan your quiescent balls 😉 However the accommodation is very pleasant and well-equipped Very responsive host with very easy communication. i recommend this listing 👌🏻

We really enjoyed our stay — the place is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for disconnecting. It’s surrounded by nature, which makes it ideal if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing escape. A couple of things to keep in mind: having a car is definitely recommended, as the property is about 30 minutes from downtown Bacalar. Getting around without transportation could be a bit difficult. Also, the house has an open-space design — there are no doors or fully enclosed rooms — so sound travels easily, and you’ll likely hear everything going on in other areas. Just something to consider if you’re sensitive to noise or traveling with a group. That said, the service was excellent. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They allowed us to leave our luggage well before check-in and even gave us wristbands to access a nearby balneario, which was a lovely surprise. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We’d definitely stay again!

Roxana was always on the lookout and communication was super good. Everything was excellent in the accommodation, there was no fault of anything. The place is quiet and comfortable, the house has everything that comes in the description, it is spacious and everything is very nice. The area is very quiet and is 5 minutes from the beach by car.

We can’t recommend Jungla enough, we were made to feel so welcome by everyone. The location was wonderful, just a short walk from the lagoon and centre. The accommodation was clean with the most comfortable bed. We loved every minute here thank you so much to Lety and the team for making our trip even more special x

Incredible experience in a tropical paradise! 🌴✨ Our stay in this cabin was everything we expected and more. We travel in a group and the cabin turned out to be the perfect space for us. The 4 private rooms, each with its own private bathroom, were a true luxury. It allowed us to have our own privacy while sharing amazing moments together. The rooms are comfortable, cool (thanks to the air conditioning) and very cozy, ideal for resting after a day of activities. The saloon is another highlight. With a spacious dining room and a very comfortable living room, it became our favorite place to gather, laugh, play board games, and plan our adventures. The air conditioning made the ambiance perfect, we felt right at home! The garden full of tropical plants loved everyone. Also, we felt safe and comfortable at all times. This place is definitely perfect for groups. Magda's service 10/10!!

I thought it was an excellent place, if you go with children, 50 meters away there is a very shallow area where they can have fun, it has kayaks and you can take those rides on the lagoon, go to Isla Pájaros, Cenote Esmeralda, Cenote de la Bruja, all by kayak. Waking up with your coffee on the pier was great, it has a grill and you can make roast pork.

All the very friendly staff, I did not know all the villas inside but my was beautiful ( villa ballesta) is as you see in the photos , the only thing I did not like was the food recommendation (I only tried the tacos , but as they were horrible I didn't want to ask anywhere else). No doubt I would come back again. How it is not close to the center, please take into account what to ask for a taxi or take the van that passes by the road.

The place lives up to its name, a paradise within a paradise. A very quiet and relaxing place to rest and connect with yourself. They have several hammocks to rest in and the view from the balcony is nice. In addition, the upper terrace is very nice at night. Alexia, the girl at the reception is very friendly and helpful, she helped us a lot during our stay. You have our special thanks.

Wow! This private room was absolutely spectacular and we were so pleased to find out it also had a private bathroom. The views are unbelievable and the jacuzzi is such a nice touch. My husband and I are backpackers but wanted to treat ourselves for our honeymoon and this was the perfect location. The Che hostel staff were so accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend if you want the benefits and friendships that come with hostel life but the comforts of a hotel.

My Family and I truly enjoyed our stay. Michelle provided very detailed instructions in regards to check in which were easy to follow and made checkin very easy. While the location is out of the main stores and restaurant in Chetumal, it did provide a getaway that made us feel we were in our own retreat, removed from all the usual distractions. The home and amenities made it where you didn’t want to leave. We spent most of our time at the house and enjoyed every minute of it. We will surely be back again soon. Thanks to Michelle and her cohosts for allowing us to stay in their beautiful home. It was truly an amazing experience.

Beautiful and quiet, excellent location. We used the kayaks every day and enjoyed the hammocks in front of the Lagoon. The loft-style home setup was great for our family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults). We’d love to go back again one day!
