Very nice home and host! Our GPS showed a location about 400 meters earlier on the way, but Sven Erik was very helpful and it was very easy to get there. We slept one night when we were passing through and can absolutely imagine staying here again 😊

We had a very nice week at this scenic place in Orrviken! The home felt both more spacious and private than we'd expected. Maria and Ulte were super nice hosts who told us about excursions, including to Östärbuan which became a favorite for the children.

Great and spacious apartment/upstairs with its own secluded entrance and large patio. Quiet and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Walking distance to the lake with swimming opportunities, row boat and canoe. Jenni and family were all very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

The host is kind and can also charge the trolley after the negotiation, there is a large lake in front of it, and the surrounding area is beautiful,

Gorgeous place for a vacation with a very responsive host. The property, both inside and out, is even better than the photos suggest. It is very quiet and private, and the house is new & modern, and decorated beautifully. There are multiple TVs and living rooms. The internet connection and cell phone coverage were good both for working and streaming on TV. A few things to keep in mind are that the house is just off the road with some traffic and it's not a fenced property. We kept our young dog on leash or always kept an eye on her so that she did not go towards the front of the house from the backyard. It is also about 1km to the nearest sidewalk/trail to go for a walk without taking the car. One of the two bedrooms in the house does not have an attached bathroom and does not have a door.

If you want to spend a wonderful vacation, you are in super good hands here. Anyone who's ever seen the movie The Christmas Cabin knows what I'm talking about. It will remain an unforgettable vacation for us. You just feel comfortable. Thanks for that

It was a wonderful stay! We felt super comfortable. Annie and her family have a beautiful, lovingly decorated house. Even in bad weather you could spend a nice time here. The direct access to the lake and hot tub were a great highlight of the stay! Annie gave us great tips for excursions in the area and restaurants in Östersund and was always available for us. We would come back anytime! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jonas's place! The wonderful view, tranquility, sauna, equipped with sofas and hammocks leave you no choice but to relax. Just perfect to relax for a few days. The accessibility by bus was also good for us. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful cozy apartment just few minutes walk to the center, and supermarkets and restaurants. Enjoyed my stay at Joel’s place; the apartment has all the amenities you need during your stay. Highly recommended when you’re in Ostersund!

I consider this one of the best places if you're looking for an excellent stay in Östersund. It is close to the city, easy to go everywhere by walking and the apartment has everything you need. we had a great stay at johan's place. it was quiet, private and very beautiful with its surroundings. johan was very responsive and took great care of us.

We spent 6 great days in this cozy flat in Orrviken. It was the perfect place to relax and to explore the surroundings of Östersund. We enjoyed the view over the lake and the mountains, went downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and ice skating. The hosts were very friendly and informed us when the northern lights could be seen. I am sure we will come back soon.
