Great weekend stay at The Otters Den! It was so peaceful and quiet. The camper had everything we needed. The weather was beautiful for mid-October so we enjoyed a lot of time outdoors. The complimentary coffee and popcorn were perfect! John even left a bundle of complimentary wood, which was so nice. We will definitely be back for another weekend of rest and relaxation. Thank you again.

Great communication from the time of booking through check-out. Clean, well appointed rooms. House was well taken care of, comfortable and clean. Even had a basket of toiletry items that a guest might forget. Minimal to-do list before check-out, and great value for the price paid. Would absolutely book again if we are in the area.

I was very impressed with: the ample roominess, the very responsive hostess, the modern appliances, how new everything looked, the clean two car garage available for our use, the beautiful sunrises over the corn fields, and the clear instructions for the working WiFi. This is a place we would return to in a heartbeat.

The property was spotless upon arrival. All surfaces were clean, the linens smelled fresh, and the house smelled amazing . The Airbnb is situated in a convenient area, close to local restaurants, the grocery store, and the main highway. The house is well-equipped with essentials like kitchen appliances, Wi-Fi, and toiletries. A coffee maker and a washer/dryer were nice touches. The bed was comfortable, and the living space was cozy and inviting. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. They also checked periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. During our stay, it snowed. The host came and shoveled snow while we were there. The price was reasonable for the quality and location of the accommodation. This 2-bedroom, 1-bath Airbnb is a fantastic choice for small families looking for a comfortable stay. With its prime location and attentive host, it offers great value for the price. Thanks again Jeannie and John!

Big Stone beachfront lake house

In spite of anything I've said here that may be seen as a negative, it was only meant as helpful feedback. The service and accommodations were great overall, a very good value and I would be happy to stay there again if the opportunity arises. One last item, the outlet that served the coffee pot stopped working our first day. We could not find a tripped breaker. It wasn't really a problem as we just moved the pot to a different location - actually, I think it's better where we put it being away from a busy part of the kitchen - but I just wanted to make sure you knew so it could be repaired. Thank you.

Dawn made us feel right at home. Very nice place, comfortable beds which is just what we were looking for.

This was an older home full of charm and character. It was very clean and spacious, very clean, and was very well equipped. Location was excellent and communication with our hosts was outstanding. Would stay again.

A wooden dock extends over calm waters, leading to a charming gray house with a red roof. Lush greenery surrounds the property, enhancing the tranquil lakeside setting. A few lawn chairs are positioned on the dock, providing a perfect spot for relaxation.

Big Stone Lake Retreat ~ 7 Mi to Browns Valley!

Our family of nine (with 7 of our children joining us) enjoyed our stay very much! The layout of the cabin made it feel very spacious and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The property had great amenities, and was super clean. My husband met Lisa the owner of this cabin who was nice and friendly. Our kids enjoyed playing with the neighbor kids at the cabin next door too. Property is right on the lake, like 10 feet from the back door, which we loved. Very quiet and peaceful lake, greatly enjoyed the two kayaks. Kids fished on one of the docks and had some fun catches. Definitely would return to this nice escape from big city life!

The loft area features a carpeted floor beneath wooden beams and sloped ceilings, providing an open and airy feel. A wooden railing runs along the edge, and natural light enters through a nearby window partially covered by a curtain.

Bring your own towels and towel for the floor when you step out of the shower. Great place and great host!! We will rent again forsure.

Place was exactly as pictured, no problems at all. Google maps took us to the back of the trailer but driving around to the front was no issue. Parking with a boat could get challenging during a busier season. Great location lots of fishing close by. All our questions were answered in the additional details, make sure to read those we didn’t until later in the trip. Thanks
