Monthly Rentals in Orton

It was beautiful. It required minimum nights stay. So I booked a night we didn’t use. If you want ambiance and a beautiful English feel, you’ll love the place as I did. It was very difficult with all the instructions on turning everything on and off at the main switches every single time you used the stove, microwave or shower water. And I was disappointed that there was even a little coffee or a tea bag to have a cup of tea upon arrival. Not even a second trash bag or roll of toilet paper. It just completely lacked any necessary items. Not one! So I probably wouldn’t use them again. That being said, the ambiance of the place was fantastic and I loved the community sitting area. Very glad for the experience and truly believe you should give it a try! The beauty was worth it. Once. And you may fall absolutely in love with it and visit many times.

We enjoyed our 2 nights break at Tom's apartment in historic Orton Hall. It had an impressive atmosphere in the building and the overall property and grounds were very peacefull. Just a pity weather was wet and cold. A good base for lake district shopping and exploration.

We have just spent 3 lovely nights at Joanna’s beautiful home. Town End Cottage was everything we expected it to be and more. The space is absolutely beautiful with everything you could possibly need. Only a 35 minute drive away from Windermere and 25 from Aira Force waterfall, we had endless options of sights to see. Thank you to Joanna and family (including the lovely kitties) for a peaceful stay. We hope to be back soon!
