Cottage vacation rentals in Orthez

It was a great stay with Cecile & Jean-Louis. The cottage in the enchanted forest was very comfortably furnished. We didn't lack anything. The heating worked great. Also highly recommended in rainy weather. An absolute highlight to explore the area on foot with a dog. There are many walking trails in the surrounding area. Especially the Centre de Biodiversité Jean Rostand has a great circular path and is right around the corner. Another highlight was the hot tub that we used in the evening. Jean-Louis has prepared it with a lot of love for detail, so you have a great experience here. When we are in the area, we'll be back for sure. We highly recommend it.

Absolutely perfect, in every way. The house is located in a peaceful haven but with everything you need within 5 min drive, ideal for enjoying a peaceful evening after a day at the beach or walking. Our 3-year-old daughter felt at home there, which was especially convenient on rainy days. I recommend it without reservation, and our hotel was extremely pleasant and responsive. Thank you again for this relaxing vacation.

We enjoyed the layout and decoration as well as the location. Everything is planned to make you feel at home. The camp is very quiet. We'll be sure to talk about it around us. The welcome is very warm. There's nothing missing from the chalet.

We had a pleasant stay at Sharon's . Very nice typical Basque house, very well equipped with very good quality materials. We were hosted very well by Matteo, who gave us good advice on things to do in the corners since he is from the region . Walking distance to the center of Espelette is a plus to discover this beautiful city . The exteriors are a big plus with its beautiful terrace and lawn area overlooking the river which allows you to enjoy the beautiful sunny days. I highly recommend this house , nothing is missing but to enjoy!!!! Thanks to Sharon 😉

Hello, we spent 5 nights with 5 people and it was very good.🙂 The house is large and functional, the small garden is very well equipped with direct access to the forest, it's great. The place was lovely and so peaceful! We had a great time in this beautiful area. The accommodation is very well equipped, quiet and without any vis-a-vis, a real jewel in a green setting. Chantal is a very welcoming host, she informed us very well, the communication was very fluid and she is very flexible. I would definitely recommend it without hesitation.

We had a great week at this house surrounded by the mountains. The view is absolutely beautiful and the location, surrounded by nature, is ideal for relaxing. The stars at night were breathtakingly beautiful! The decor gives an authentic charm to the house, it creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed being able to disconnect from our screens and take full advantage of tranquility and nature. A perfect stay that we would recommend without hesitation! We'll be happy to go back 😊

We had a great time. Ideal accommodation for a stay with friends, close to Lake Léon (many activities for children) and the ocean. Well equipped garden with all sorts of games. Claire is very welcoming and friendly. Only downside, the busy departmental is behind the house. Other than that, I highly recommend.

a very good welcome from Lizzie, we immediately felt very good. The garden is beautiful (and fenced for our dog), an amazing starry night without light pollution, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. The house is comfortable and very clean. Lizzie and her husband are in the house next to, we meet them very little, they are very discreet. 10 minutes away you can stock up on groceries in Ogeu, people are very friendly. 30-40 minutes from the Benou plateau, great place to go hikes or a little further Laruns if you want higher hikes. When it rained, we went to visit Oloron and Pau, which are not far away. In short, we had a lovely week of family vacation. I highly recommend it!

Spacious and bright house in a very pleasant environment even in winter! Very functional kitchen that allows for nice family gatherings. Beautiful rooms with very comfortable bedding which allows everyone to rest well and isolate themselves if necessary. Sebastien's tips made our stay easy. We highly recommend this listing.

Unforgettable stay!! We had a great weekend in Indakoborda, a perfect place for our large group of friends. The house is cozy and authentic, with plenty of room for everyone. The terraces were ideal: one for barbecue dinner, and another for enjoying a breakfast surrounded by nature. The views, the silence, the birds and the wood aroma made this place something special. Everything was spotless and we felt right at home. We'll be back for sure!

Everything was perfect, we are delighted with our stay. The bungalow was very nice, comfortable and well-equipped (even for our baby). We also loved the peaceful location in the holiday village among the pines, right next to the pond for beautiful walks. Before our arrival and during the stay, communication with the hosts went very well. Thank you very much! We'll be back with pleasure.

We had a wonderful stay, Delphine and her husband are very welcoming, the accommodation has more than necessary in terms of amenities, the outdoor area is very nice and peaceful, no noise, perfect quiet place to relax. Ideal location close to all the places of interest on the Basque coast (cities to visit, beaches within 15 minutes, Spain, etc.). We would definitely stay again and can only recommend this place :)
