Beautiful Secluded Home with own Beach in 6 Acres

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Once again. Our second visit to The Noddle. Top review for this wonderful property. Lots of quirky lovely additions to the decor. The hosts fabulous artwork on the walls throughout were a delight. All we needed was at hand, and plenty of room for all 6 of us on our mahjong game tour. Clear instructions for all the carefully maintained heating units and other electrical appliances and all wall switches/sockets clearly labelled. Lovely maintained house and garden-including the 'secret garden'. A great decking with comfy chairs to sit in the sunshine and listen to nature... and count the bunnies! What more can I say.? Thank you Tony and Penny for letting us stay in this wonderful place.

The exterior of the house features a textured light-colored facade, large windows, and a modern wooden entrance door. A stone wall borders the pathway, and clear skies above ensure bright lighting on the building's structure.

Castlehill, Sanday

StephenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were looking for peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings and an opportunity to relax amongst the wonderful wildlife. Castlehill offered this in droves and we loved it; and host Tim could not have been more helpful land responsive, ensuring we were totally at home and comfortable. The views across the loch were gorgeous, changing in character across the day, and the nearby beach was both easily walkable as well as accessible by car - and wonderful. As you can tell, we aim to come back!
The exterior of the stone cottage is visible, showcasing traditional architecture with a sloped roof and multiple windows. Surrounding the cottage is grassy land, reflecting the natural landscape of the area. The setting sun casts a warm light, enhancing the stone façade.

Brodgar Cottage

DorritRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Absolutely loved my stay at Brodgar Cottage. Shawn was a kind and responsive host and gave a great range of recommendations for things to do. He offered a flexible check-in due to my ferry's arrival time which was much appreciated, and came to meet me and show me around the property. The house is comfortable and has everything you need, and is in an incredible location, basically equidistant from Stromness and Kirkwall, and with key sights walkable from the house itself. The parking space for the house is right outside the front door and keeps your car neatly off the road, with a potential additional one round the back if needed. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean and everything works well, there is a washer and dryer if needed too. The television is good and the wifi is strong! I would (and probably will!) absolutely stay here again happily, and many thanks to Shawn for being a great host.
A traditional stone building is depicted, featuring a symmetrical façade with multiple windows. The sloped roof showcases distinct architectural elements. A welcoming entrance is visible, along with a sign. The bright blue sky provides a clear backdrop, highlighting the building's historical charm.

What a find. Sanday is a beautiful, peaceful island. Not a high octane location but one to relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. The house was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Beautifully furnished and well stocked with little extras like cakes and drinks waiting for us on arrival. Highly recommended.
A traditional stone building with a distinctive gabled roof and multiple windows is pictured. The facade features a blend of textures from weathered stone, and a flag is prominently displayed at the entrance, indicating the property's charming character.

Private room with en-suite is always a great feature for a couple. Loved being on the water, and being able to explore right out the front door. Only issue is we didn't have enough time there. Thanks Shona for a great stay.
