Nestled in a rhododendron in the north part of Hjelmsjöborg's park is this octagonal tower Palm House. This is a very unique building where you get a home like nothing else. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stuccos, brick paintings, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a paved patio with a Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house is Hjelmsjöns nice tennis courts. In the winter months it can get a little cold, then you have to curl up on the couch and light a fire in the fireplace.

Welcome to our cozy year-round holiday home at Vemmentorpasjön about 8 km from Örkelljunga. Here you can relax and enjoy both swimming and comfortable walks in the forest or a more adventurous trip to Vallåsen (17km) or Kungsbyggets Adventure Park (10km) where there is downhill-MTB etc. The house is located on a hill overlooking meadows and woods and less than 5 minutes walk to the well-kept bathing area at Lake Vemmentorpa. Access to canoe that can be pulled down to the lake is included in rental.

Our house is situated in the lovely swedish nature and still not far away from the local grocery. The house has been renovated the last 3-4 years and is very nice and modern. The house is appx. 75 m2. with 2 sleeping rooms (each with a duble bed and a single bed) and a new annex (with a duble bed and a single bed). There is different kinds of toys for kids (mostly boys) in the house and in the garden we have a big trampoline :-) and an extra TV for playing games or watching movies in the annex.

Newly built wooden Stuga from 2009. Indoor size is 55 sqm, two bedrooms+25 sqm sleeping loft on 2000 sqm half wilderness ground with shelter. Fully isolated for all year use. Situated in a hilly and silent area in the village of Åsljunga on Hallandsåsen in Skåne, southSweden. Several swimming and fishing lakes within 3 km from the house, besides lots of forest and wonderful nature. Alpine skiing 25 min away. Lake Åsljunga is 1 km away with a jump tower and sandy beach. Lovely nature all around.

A cozy traditional 19th-century cottage that has been renovated to modern standards. The house is about 90m² with two bedrooms with a 180cm, 140cm and 80 cm bed. There is a fire place in the living room for those cozy winter days. There is a spacious patio with furniture in the summer and a large plot with views of the forest. You have the popular Vemmentorpssjön a couple of minutes away, perfect for swimming and fishing. 15 minutes to Vallåsen's ski resort and Kungsbygget's adventure park.

My house is adorable, next to a lake. It's peacefull, lots of windows. You can take the canoe , paddling ower the lake, or just sit and relax on the deck. Cold days, sit inside by the fireplace, read, eat a nice dinner in one off the rooms with windows owerlooking the lake. Small bedrooms,leaning walls , give you a feeling off going back 100 years in old sweden, when the house was built. You can not swim from my garden, but 200m from my house is a beach. My house is in a small village.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. A wooden cottage built 2004 by a pond at the edge of the woods. It is not far from the E4 highway, located all by itself, you will not hear anything but the sound of nature. Three bedrooms, one with a large double bed, two with two bunk beds in each room. A large sitting room, with a fireplace in the middle, and a large dining table, with a magnificent view over the pond and the fields. There is also a fullt equipped kitchen.

Stay in a cozy log cabin in the middle of the forest, 100 meters from the lake! Beautiful surroundings, many places to walk and relax in nature both in summer and winter. Vallåsen Park which offers one of the best bike parks in Sweden as well as ski and cross-country skiing tracks is only 25 minutes from our cabin. The cottage has an area of about 100 sqm - at your disposal there is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, living room with fireplace, two bedrooms and a private, cozy sauna.

Fantastic stay! Accommodation: totally beautiful apartment, lovingly decorated, views of the countryside and the deer really nice! Surroundings: Surrounded by nature, dirt roads and forest from the front door, yard very nice with all its animals Activities: feeding deer, contact with the animals, sauna, bathing lake, hiking in nature + national parks, many excursion possibilities, everything was really great! Nicola and her husband warmly welcomed us, we felt very comfortable - would be happy to come back! We were there as a family with a toddler and a dog. 🙂

Excellent location inside the forest, peaceful and private! Relatively close by car to grocery stores. Very comfy and clean! We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sound system! Richard and Emelie were very friendly, always responsive and really flexible with the check in and out times! We would definitely visit again in the future!

The house is much more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. It was a spacious home with great amenities and a cozy atmosphere. The view of the lake was beautiful, a boat trip was possible and the beds were good.

Fantastic time at this place, where lots of things make it really great option for stay. Inside the house kitchen and all appliances are new and very well thought through so you don’t miss anything for making food, cozy fireplace, comfortable furniture and sunset view on the field with alpacas 🦙 , and then within 10 minutes nice walk distance there is big outdoor pool, sauna and basketball/football facilities which we used almost every day. We stayed with 3 kids and a dog and definitely coming back 👍

The house was very nice "new construction feeling" and scent. Very comfortable TV armchairs, sofa, etc. The rooms were upstairs, 2 nice bedrooms. A steep staircase up to the bedrooms can be a pain for some but not for it without ailments can go easily backwards down it safely. The accommodation is very affordable but less liked that they wanted a cleaning fee SEK 600 + the electricity fee in cash with its own solution to the electricity meter at arrival and check out. We had to heat the house from 6 degrees to 20 degrees with fully turned on elements in all rooms and two heat pumps of 30 degrees for about 8 hours. SEK 4/kWh is charged. Felt a little wrong to pay this huge electricity consumption to get heat in the cabin before you could sleep. We stayed for 3 nights Mon-Thurs and it cost SEK 1350 extra with cleaning and the electricity fee. And find an ATM for the cash and shop the newspaper to get change etc…. As a business owner to report everything, this became a bit of a hassle. Despite this, it is very affordable and can recommend the house.

A very welcoming and helpful host. If you had any questions, she was there for us. The location was also very cozy on a small farm, the owner also lives on the property but still you had your own piece. The area is very nicely adjacent to the woods and lakes. Nice to walk. We have also been to Lund for one more day about an hour's drive, a very nice city to visit. All with all a real recommendation !

We had a very nice stay. You had to get used to the bathroom, which at the same time was the pass-through room to two bedrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped and the terrace invited you to relax. A top location right on the lake where you could cool off on warm days. A typical Swedish house. There are costs for electricity, another boat and bikes:)
