Amazing location for those wanting a quiet coastal getaway. Beautiful sea and mountain views, short walk to Monkey Island and then onto the long sandy beach of Te Wae Wae Bay. Great basecamp for exploring other highlights of the southern coast. Well stocked with kitchen appliances and ingredients. Added bonus - the house is a recent build with superior insulation. Even though it was autumn with cold nights we were super cosy throughout our stay. (18-20 deg inside with no heaters on - wow!!)

We had a lovely restful night before starting out on the Humpridge Trail. Felt very welcome and cared for :-) Great hosts who go out of their way to make you feel like a welcome guest 😀 Thanks for having us

I had a great stay at Clifden Pitstop was just the place to rest up after a hard day's travelling the place was well appointed and had a great shower and comfy bed. It was an ideal place to stop over while traveling through the area. The only thing missing was a bottle of wine to sit back with and watch the Sun fade on the hills and the stars come out. Very peaceful nights rest before continuing my journey. Nicola was attentive and proactive in communications I can definitely recommend if you're traveling or exploring the area and river. Cheers

Such a relaxing home to enjoy with the family and the dog. We loved the garden, the hot tub, and the views! We hope to come back again soon.
