It is located in the center of Opatija and very close to the sea as well as all tourist attractions. There is a kitchen, toilet and a comfortable pull-out bed. Entrance door from the apartment is shared with the owner (we share the main hallway) but each apartment has a separate entrance.Considering that the window from the apartment is faicing to the staircase, there is not a lot of daylight, but the apartment has an exit to the yard which you can use.
“Jasmina is a very nice host and responds quickly to messages. Our stay in Opatija was much better than we expected. In fact, the apartment looks even better than the pictures. It is very cozy and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have air conditioning, so you can set the temperature you want. The kitchen has everything you need and even more: all the dishes you need, a kettle, a stove, a fridge and a coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower, clean towels, hair dryer and washing machine. The location of the flat is perfect, the main street goes 2 minutes (it is a street stretching along the sea) on the way there are many restaurants and bars. There is about 700 meters to the big SPAR market, we walked to the bus stop for about 15 minutes, so we had no problem getting with heavy suitcases. When we leave the apartment and go up a bit, we will see a beautiful panorama of Opatija. There is a national park nearby. Despite the fact that we went in November, our stay was not boring, even when it was raining you could visit great restaurants or go for a walk in the mountains. I highly recommend staying in this lovely town and cozy studio Jasmin. We are very pleased and sincerely recommend it to everyone :)”

“We chose this place to celebrate our 8th anniversary. It's a double anniversary: the day we first met (12/31/2011), and also the day we got married (12/31/2016). Our plan was to arrive to Stjepan & Suzana's place from another AirBnB, where we spent a week before. We were traveling by bus, and Stjepan made himself available by providing helpful tips to assure a smooth arrival. He asked permission to offer activities for the New Year's Eve, all the while not being intrusive at all. He was responsive, informative and pleasant. He picked us up in Opatija with his car, which was really generous and helped accelerate our check-in. This also gave us an opportunity for a quick chit-chat which was great. On day #1 we used their laundry washer + drier (thanks very much!), as we usually travel light. When we arrived into the apartment, we were greeted by his wife Suzana, a bottle of wine, a plate of chocolate cakes and a note "Happy Anniversary" written in Croatian. Us being a gay couple, we don't get to see that a lot and we were very appreciative. Our initial impression was that the apartment appears smaller than on the photos. However, everything else was above average, and honestly we did not want to leave. I can't really put my finger on it, but it was probably the view + the amenities + the hosts' personality? Me being a home cook (and we brought our own wok!) we found ourselves just staying in, cooking & eating, lazying around, drinking wine all day... and generally feeling like we're on a proper holiday & having the best time of our life. We cooked fish, veal, mussels, made sandwiches using their toaster. The dishwasher was great. Plenty of cookware, cutlery, utensils, plates, glasses, and whatever you can think of. There was some coffee + spices in the kitchen, which we also re-stocked several times. Lidl (the grocery store) is literally 250m up the street, and a small wine shop is only 50m away. Since it was the New Year holidays, shops were closed on our arrival. But Suzana kindly provided tomato sauce, which was the only missing ingredient for a meal. Unfortunately, I did not end up using it, but we cooked everything else almost the whole time. The view was outstanding, not only from the room, but also from the roof top. We ended up going to the roof 3-4 times a day (maybe even more), and could not stop romanticizing how great would it be to come here in Summer, when we could use the pool. The cold (some might say freezing) weather did not stop us. We found the apartment warm enough even when weather outside was windy and cold. We did not use the a/c for heating at all; the room was warm enough. When we were not in the apartment, we went out for walks. Us being avid hikers, we thought the walks were too short, even when going to Opatija on foot. Spending the New Years' Eve from our room was also great - we turned off the lights and just enjoyed watching the fireworks in the entire bay. For a tiny bit, we felt like we were in Rio! I cannot say enough about Suzana and Stjepan. Their service is exceptional. I know it takes a lot to make the experience seem effortless, but they did somehow manage to do it. All I can say is they set the bar really high for all AirBnB hosts in the Kvarner/Opatija region, and we recommend this place to our friends, and will continue to do so. Secretly we're hoping to come visit again some day!”
Apartment is located in a picturesque fishing village Volosko. It is a walking distance from the nearest beach (literally 2 minutes) that is very suitable for small children as well as grown ups. Volosko has a beautiful port, many restaurants, bars and galleries. Volosko is also the start of a great walking area by the sea - the Promenade of king Francis Joseph I. Habsburg (Lungomare - 12 km) that is filled with numerous beaches.
“Staying in apartment Ana was very pleasant, the location is very good with a seaview, the apartment is very clean and has everything you need for your vacation. Despite some bad weather (it happens in the wintertime :)) we enjoyed our stay in Volosko very much. The owners are very very nice and I would recommend it to anyone travelling to this area. For sure it wasn't our last time there!”
