Family-friendly vacation rentals in Oltretorrente, Parma

Hosts who are helpful and kind, very welcoming and, despite living next door, never intrusive. The house is beautiful, the outside even more. Very nice pool. Large barbecue that allowed us to grill many things together. Very large interior spaces, kitchen equipped with everything, the bathrooms reserved for almost every room are a detail. The only downside is the difficulties of connecting with the Wi-Fi network, but you can also do without in a place like this.

Very nice Airbnb in the nature of Italy. If you want to stay at a quiet and peaceful place it’s perfect. Alessandra was a very friendly host and we felt at home right away. Thank you very much!

Alessandra is the perfect hoste and makes you feel at home immediately. The place is absolutely stunning with a beautiful pool. Rooms are big and comfortable and decorated with clocks, audio speakers etc from earlier times which gave the space something special. And not to forget the homemade pasta or beer that they serve! Certainly a place to visit when you are in the neighboorhood!

A great place for a quiet getaway.

The vacation home is an absolute gem. Here we felt totally comfortable and enjoyed the time very much, even if the sun did not honor us so much. Thanks to Elisa and Cristina, the great hosts who put in so much effort with us!!!

I can only confirm what other people have written. If you're looking for peace, this is the perfect place. I spent 3 days there alone: it's a magical place, full of vibes, even time passes differently. I loved everything: the attention to detail of the accessories, (especially those in the kitchen), the recovered furniture, the presence of wood everywhere (the writing corner is magnificent, I used it a lot). The books available gave me numerous ideas for reading. There is also a vintage audio system that you can connect to via Bluetooth to listen to your favorite playlists. Even the wifi works perfectly. From the cottage I took several walks on the hills, even for hours.

Our stay at Alessandrea’s place was absolutely wonderful! The interiors exude a classic Italian old-world charm, making the space feel warm, elegant, and full of character. Every corner tells a story, and we loved soaking in the beautiful details of the home. It’s cozy just what you look for when travelling abroad to a new country. What truly made our experience unforgettable was Alessandrea’s incredible hospitality. She and her husband are the sweetest people, welcoming us with so much warmth and kindness. They picked us up for the train station. A special mention to the thoughtful breakfast items she left for us—they added such a comforting touch to our mornings! We will always have a fondness for them in our hearts and can’t wait for our paths to cross again. fantastic place and location

The location of the house offers spectacular views of the hills, the castle, and the Rossena tower. Isolina is very welcoming, makes you feel at home and offers a generous breakfast on the terrace (the best homemade pancakes ever eaten). The house is fresh and clean, the bathroom has a modern double shower and the kitchen offers everything you need (including oil, salt, etc.). We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Claudio, the host, from the beginning was very helpful and provided us with useful information to get as close as possible by car to the apartment, which, on several levels, was great for our stay because it offered privacy but conviviality at the same time (having two bathrooms and two separate sleeping areas). The host team, who accompanied us at check-in, was also very helpful and thorough in explaining both the apartment and the places of interest to visit in the area.

Had a lovely stay with Tiziana and Luigi. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and centrally located. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and needs!

We had a wonderful stay! The Agriturismo Il Vecchio Borgho is enchantingly located in the green hills of the Appenin in a fantastic landscape and absolute tranquility. Great nature with valuable and rare flora and fauna. The see cozy, very comfortable and cozy accommodation is in a country typical old farmhouse, which has been restored with a lot of love and very stylishly. In the hamlet there is a very good restaurant within walking distance, Modena and Reggio Emilia are easily accessible by car, the best way to get to Bologna is by train from Reggio Emilia. Mario was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful. Through his recommendations and explanations, it was a pleasure to get to know and enjoy his home. We truly hope to come back!

We greatly enjoyed Maria Teresa's B&B. The surroundings and the accommodation are very nice and tidy. Maria Teresa is very proud of her B&B and makes sure everything stays very tidy. She takes a lot of care and time cleaning the apartments. The apartment is very suitable for people who love mountain biking, cycling and/or hiking. There is a swimming pool within walking distance. Maria Teresa is willing to answer questions throughout the day. She is very enthusiastic about this. No question finds them tiring or annoying. This makes you quickly feel comfortable in the B&B. For people looking for beautiful nature, peace, space and good food, this is highly recommended!

Nice pittoresque location with a large family suite which suited well. The pool was a nice bonus and was very nice situated.

Maria’s B&B is a wonderful quiet and peaceful place. Maria was very welcoming and friendly and she went out of her way to organise a tour for us. Our stay was short but would highly recommend.

Roberta is an excellent host who takes the time beforehand and during the stay to ensure her guests have everything they need and recommendations of local activities in books at the house and throughout our stay. The house is charming and very well appointed, little touches like tea and coffee, balsamic and olive oil are very welcome as well as a lovely present and bottle of wine on arrival. We would not hesitate to stay again if in the area, it’s very handy for Modena, Parma and Reggio Emilia and the pool is fab for the kids and adults alike. Everyone we met in Baiso was friendly and welcoming and our kids enjoyed meeting and hanging out with the local kids who took great care of them also.
