Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ollantaytambo

This was a lovely stay! Sonia was so welcoming and she made us feel right at home. Breakfast was good but unfortunately we all had altitude sickness but Sonia did whatever she could to make us feel better. She did a lovely demonstration on weaving and yarn making/dying. She has a shop full of lovely items. Would recommend for a small town local feel outside of the bigger cities. Would recommend for the lovely hospitality and home feeling. There were plenty of blankets for warmth. No heat in the spaces but we stayed warm. Sonia helped get a taxi for us to get to our next location. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area again.

I agree with the other reviewers—the photos don’t do justice to how truly stunning this place is. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. The garden is a little paradise, with hummingbirds and other wildlife visiting daily. It’s just a short walk to mototaxis that can take you into town. The local people are incredibly kind and generous, always ready to help. Fabiola was warm, welcoming, and always available to answer questions or offer suggestions. I can’t wait to come back!

5 STARS!!! The view of the adjacent mountains and the valley are magical!!! We nicknamed the place "The Mansion in the Sky" The finishings and furnishings were of the highest quality. Ariana was super helpful with questions, restaurant recommendations, etc. Thank you to the owners, the builders, housekeeping, the lovely neighbors, and Adriana!! We LOVED our stay!! ❤️ Would love to come back with family if we get the chance🤞.

Eduardo is an excellent host! very helpful with instructions and attentive! The view of the mountains is amazing and it has a huge garden with a patio setting to enjoy! I loved the yoga studio upstairs with a deck to practice outside or also inside! The bed is very comfortable and the shower is strong and Hot! It has a new kitchen with oven that I enjoyed very much! The best part it's that Arin Waterfalls are only 20 minutes walking! Amazing spot to enjoy, meditate and watch the valley from the top! The neighborhood it's very peacefull and people are very kind! I felt safe at all time! I would definitely come back!

La casa en Urubamba es simplemente preciosa, con un encantador estilo colonial que le da un aire muy especial. El departamento es amplio, cómodo y perfecto para descansar. Además, cuenta con muy buena señal de internet, lo que fue ideal para poder combinar trabajo y relajo sin problemas. Está a pasos de todo en el Valle Sagrado, lo que lo convierte en una excelente base para explorar la zona. ¡Muy recomendable!

Charlie’s place is super lovely, clean, central and on such a cute street in Pisac. Wonderful little kitchen, rooftop terrace and communal workspaces as well. He was very communicative and flexible. Would definitely stay again!

Luis’ apartment was fantastic. It is the entire upper (third) floor of his building and was so peaceful. It is located outside of the hustle and bustle of central Pisac, right next to a river. The sound of the rippling water was perfect for working, relaxing, and sleeping. The internet is solid for remote work, the hot shower was perfect after nearby hikes, and the kitchen had everything one could need. Luis and his father were always very responsive and ready to assist. Highly recommended!

Such an incredible place and location. Ada is an incredible host and made sure I felt right at home the entire stay. I spent 5 weeks here and enjoyed every moment of the place, the rooftop terrace / views, and surrounding area. Very peaceful and quiet. Central to all the amazing places in the Sacred Valley. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to fully immerse in this beautiful part of the world.

Must stay here!! Stunning appartment with small kitchen which has everything you need including all kitchen essentials such as coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil, water fountain etc ; a huge warm/cuddly bed; lovely modern bathroom; all within about 5 mins from down town Lamay. Lamay is a gorgeous little town of it’s own valley with a very cute town centre/square with a must visit coffee shop on the square. But what is special regarding this place are the hosts Norma and Tony. Gorgeous, warm and friendly hospitality, well travelled globally including Europe, Asia and US. English language is great! Great organic garden and river running past the property. Extremely relaxing with Hosts that are there for you! Loved it!

Great place to stay! Enjoyed the view. Everything was as others mentioned. Our host was super quick to respond and helpful with a few of our requests. Apartment was nicely decorated and very comfortable for the 2 of us! Water pressure is a little weak... but that seems normal for Urubamba. We would recommend this place to others. Market is a great place to get some goodies to make for yourself! Thank you for the stay!!!

Aderly was a great host. The location is in the central of town. The apartment is different from the rest available in town, much more modern as its name suggested. We stayed for 2 months. Whenever we had an issue, Alderly would address it right away.

Fue muy amable, super hospitalaria desde que nos dio la bienvenida hasta que nos despidió. Siempre respondió a nuestras inquietudes y solicitudes con rapidez. El lugar muy acogedor y tranquilo. Camas cómodas y con bastantes frazadas para el frío. El lugar estaba frente a una pequeña plaza, linda vista. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme ahí. Gracias Cintya, muchos éxitos.

I don’t think you will find a nicer place in Urubamba. The decor was beautiful, it had hot water and everything you need for a perfect stay. The host was helpful and left a manual with local suggestions. You are right in the middle of everything- stores, markets and restaurants. I highly recommend. One caution though - I am a 5’10, plus size woman (size 16) and i just fit in the bathroom. The opening for the shower is about 12 inches. if you are a bigger person, be warned. Otherwise, this is 100% the place for you.

Wow!!! I booked this airbnb knowing nothing about Cusco! I am so happy that i stayed here in the sacred valley! If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, come here! Walkable to all the markets, bus station (take the colectivo everywhere! it’s cheap!) restaurants, the center of Urubamba where a lot is always happening. If you’re a hiking person, urubamba is the perfect location. if you’re looking to come here and heal, come to urubamba! The apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. The host is so awesome and responsive and has a book of local recommendations made with the history of the incas . Overall perfect stay! Don’t go to Cuzco, come here!! Urubamba 💛
