Comfortable tiny cabin in Mandor Machupicchu

This place was absolutely beautiful. About 45-60 minutes walk from aguas calientes, it is surrounded by beautiful nature, a waterfall, and a botanical garden that are well worth the visit. The walk from aguas calientes is beautiful too, although perhaps a little bit scary for some as it is walking along a narrow path beside active train tracks. Erwin and his mother were both very nice, providing meals at a low cost and answering all questions. Some of the units are standalone cabins, others are adjacent to neighboring rooms which I was unaware of. Highly recommend

Rina was a super friendly and welcoming host. She made the effort to meet us at the train station even thought our train was delayed. She gave us lots of useful tips and provided us with amazing breakfast at 5:30am. We were able to leave the luggage at her place while visiting Machu Pitcchu.

I would highly recommend staying here when you’re in Aguas Calientes. The hotel staff was very helpful and informative. The breakfast in the morning was so nice! It definitely helped us get prepped before our hike to Machu Picchu. Room and bathroom were very clean which feels so nice when traveling.

This was the perfect spot to stay for the night before heading up to Machu Picchu the next morning. Check in was a breeze. The girl that checked us in was so helpful. Rooms were very spacious and very clean. They packed us breakfast to go and stored our luggages for the day while we were visiting Machu Picchu. It’s a steep, uphill walk up to the place from the train station, so be prepared if you’re bringing along suitcases! It was the perfect stay, even if it was just for a night - 10/10 recommend.

We read so many reviews of where to stay in Aguacalientes and this place didn't disappoint we are so glad we booked here. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming gave us tips and recommendations. The room was comfortable. Had a heater to take the chill off, beautiful view from the balcony and quiet. Bed was huge!! Shower has amazing pressure and always hot. Internet is extremely patchy. Breakfast was nice consisting of eggs, bread, fruit, cereals and yoghurt. Really couldn't fault this place for a stay whilst visiting Machu Picchu. Close to everything, train station, bus stop to MP, restaurants, coffee shops etc. Thanks for having us :)

This worked out well for our family trip to Machu Picchu. Yes, there are a lot of stairs up from the alley off the main plaza to the apartments, but there were landings to stop and rest if needed. My in-laws loved having their own private apartment but still having our family close-by right upstairs. Apartments were clean & as described in listing. We didn’t utilize kitchen. The beds were comfortable. We slept with the windows open and liked hearing the river way down below. It is a quiet corner of Aguas Calientes compared to the other accommodations we walked past while there and I feel like it was a good value for the money spent.
