The Byre is a delightful upcycled 19th century listed cow byre on an old farm. The room looks out on to the farm courtyard. There is a large garden for visitors use, and dark skies above us. We are an eco friendly family, and the Byre comes with a private composting toilet in a separate wooden shed, and a water supply just outside.Think of it as cosy camping in a stone tent.

I haven't been away for a long time. I was having a new floor fitted downstairs at home and needed somewhere local to stay. Breamish Parks is a beautiful, secluded place and yet is quite well situated to explore the whole of Northumberland. Katherine could not have been kinder and more attentive. She made me feel very welcome yet gave me plenty of space to do my own thing. As I was on my own, staying in the grounds of her family home made me feel secure . The Studio had everything I and two labradors could want. Even down to welcome dog chews! Thank you, Katherine for making my stay so pleasant.

A spacious kitchen island with modern appliances stands at the center, while comfortable sofas adorned with patterned cushions create inviting seating. Large doors provide access to the outdoor views, promoting a light-filled atmosphere.

We had a perfect stay at Findara, it was peaceful, spacious and beautifully decorated. The kids loved it and didn’t want to come home. We loved the open plan kitchen, living area where we could all be together but doing different things. The kids loved playing in the garden. It had everything we needed for our family of 6. Including extra bits all ready for our baby. We cant wait to go back!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful location with stunning views across the Northumberland valleys The ‘pod’ was spotless and very comfortable. The welcome pack from Heidi was super useful and appreciated. We relaxed in the hot tub after a long day out which was lovely, chilling in the morning with a coffee in the deckchairs was a good way to start the day. Heidi was great host met us on arrival to welcome us. We can’t wait to get back and stay again as a base for exploring the beautiful Northumberland countryside

We had a lovely stay at Robert’s shepherd’s hut. The hut had everything we needed and was perfect for a one night stay. The location was so peaceful and our dog loved sitting out watching the animals.

This was an amazing stay for my partner and I. We both work in the NHS and don’t often get to wind down and relax but this place is definitely special and you can’t help but loosen up! The view is unreal, there are many footpaths available to walk on and it’s all just so cosy and stunning! I would highly recommend if you are looking to get away from a busy mind or a busy life.

Our 2nd visit. We come in may to visit beautiful Cragside and this perfect little hideaway is ideally located. Very clean, modern, comfortable space perfect for a couple exploring this amazing county. Nice size garden and log burner to use. Said we would come back and we did and we will again. Absolutely outstanding night away! Highly recommended. Hosts were so friendly and helpful. All the amenities were spotless and so much more! Attention to detail was outstanding. Beautiful quiet surroundings, a fabulous escape. Can't recommend enough. Owners were so helpful, informative and friendly. Beautiful hideaway in Northumberland, just off Otterburn. Old horse truck converted into a beautiful kitchen with everything you need to make a meal. A private shower and toilet cubicle for each yurt beautifully and tastefully decorated. The hosts personal touch throughout. Pubs approx 5 miles either way that serve meals, but take your own food and everything you could possibly need has been catered for. The yurts, well beautiful decor and again your every need for a night in nature cared for. Tea, coffee, water etc ready for your arrival as well as logs for your stove and an outdoor picnic area and BBQ, with a short walk to the kitchen and shower blocks. We will definitely be back 🥰
