Monthly Rentals in Old Basing

The accommodation was very comfortable, with everything we needed for a short break. We appreciated the milk in the fridge and the chocolate brownies! Chris was a good host with prompt communication and very easy access to the property. It was just what we needed for visiting nearby family - and we can recommend the excellent bakery just a couple of minutes walk away !

Mapledurwell is located in pretty countryside close to the M3 motorway and about 3 miles from Basingstoke. Basingstoke is convenient for London and the south west of England. The town has a good shopping mall and a great ring road. The flat is not large however the main room is big enough so you don't feel cramped. The kitchen has everything for simple meals. The washing machine works fine and the drying facilities are OK for small loads. It is well decorated. The sofas are comfortable. The view out of the windows onto the former farmyard is good. Claire is cheerful, helpful, and welcoming. Overall the place is a good choice for a stay of up to a month.

This is my second stay at Gail's place. I need a slightly long term place till I sorted out my plans and I didn't have to think twice before booking Gail's place. As usual she was nice to accommodate my check in time, the place was nice & clean. It is quite close to the city mall and train station. Gail & her family are helpful and non intrusive. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Best value for money as well esp. for longer stay.

I think this may be my favorite airbnb in 30+ locations. Good access to Basingstoke w/ high speed trains to London. Lovely walks right from home. Peaceful & quiet, beautiful surroundings. Squeaky clean & good quality amenities; comfy big bed with great soft pillows. Interesting reading material & local information. Needed a car to get groceries etc over some narrow roads. Very good pub/restaurant a short drive or 30 min walk away (busy!). Just a truly lovely place to relax, even nicer than in photos. Lovely private garden with patio seating. Gareth & Chloe were great communicators & helped graciously with an extra request. We'd love to return for an even longer stay! We were truly sad to leave.
