Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Offaly

An excellent house for a group gathering - spacious with ideal amenities, great bedrooms, and centrally located for easy access to shops and pubs! Absolutely idea for our New Years getaway as a group of 14.

We stayed for a month and loved JJs place. The apartment is well located to serve as a base to explore all of ireland from. Every location we wanted to visit was easily within driving distance. The apartment itself is lovely. It had all the amenities we needed and was great for cooking. The nearby town of Roscrea is also fantastic with several supermarkets available. We also enjoyed walks in the area and visiting beautiful local parks. JJ himself was extremely kind and always ready to share some advice and recommendations. We would highly recommend this place for both short and long stays!

We stayed at the Lodge while visiting family nearby. Anthony was a fantastic host. We had bread, butter and Jan on arrival and he stopped us a day into our stay and surprised us with a local bottle of apple juice which was delicious. There were 4 generations of us staying. The youngest was 3 and the oldest 96. Everybody had a fantastic time. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Marie's house is so lovely and the location is absolutely gorgeous. Marie was so responsive before our arrival and popped over to greet us once we had settled in. The house was spotless we couldn't fault it, the stove was a lovely addition in the kitchen and there was plenty of fuel left for us. We stayed over New Years and the house was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. The two pet goats outside were the highlight for our children who loved feeding and petting them.

We couldn't have asked for a nicer house, it was amazing. We had absolutely everything we could need. We all wished we could have stayed longer. Margaret was also so kind as a host and so generous, we would 100% recommend this for families or groups of friends.

We spent a lovely easter weekend in Mai's peaceful and quiet cottage. It had everything we needed, very comfortable beds and nice linen, plenty of hot water, and good wifi. We were delighted with the field of cows beside us! It's in a great location for walking Slieve Bloom. Mai was a great host. We would have loved to stay for longer, and hope to go back again soon.

This was the first time me and my family has went out of the country together. All of us felt right at home walking into the house. Everyone enjoyed the space in the house and being located almost in the middle of Ireland made it convenient to travel to most sites we wanted to visit. Sandra was the most gracious host. She had extra touches in the house for my family which made it special to our visit. She was easy to get in touch with and this made our over all experience great. Next time I visit, I will definitely stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay there. Muirt was extremely helpful and replied to any query we had quickly. Would highly recommend. As the apartment overlooked the park and has a balcony it would be lovely in the spring/summer months.

We loved this Airbnb! Mary was a great host--super friendly and responsive. Mary's place was very comfortable, private, peaceful & beautiful surroundings! This place was an excellent location for us to explore Ireland in every direction! We loved our time in Ireland and enjoyed talking to Mary & her family. She even invited us to watch her son's hurling game; how exciting to experience that! We will definitely recommend Mary's place and look forward to returning to Ireland and staying here again!

We had a lovely few days visiting family. The accommodation met our needs and Moira provided lots of links to places to eat and taxis in the area. We were greeted with a welcome pack too!

Great spot for a family of four. Bigger than we expected and hosts greeted us on arrival with a lovely welcome. Plus, my son was thrilled to see cows the next morning.

A large, bright and pleasant accommodation: room for our son, very comfortable bedding, a very well heated farmhouse. Being able to watch the cows being milked and visiting the farm was a plus. Convenient and clean, no frills: accommodation exactly as we needed it, to take a 2-day break, in the countryside, during our 2-week Irish road trip.

Fantastic location to get out and about central Ireland

Irene and Dave were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. They made sure we had everything we needed, even helped us make a fire, and gave a tour of the gorgeous property. It’s clear they care about their place and their guests. All of the animals were a beautiful bonus! It was a highlight of our trip to Ireland and we cant wait to return.

Definitely would recommend staying here. Lovely place and host if you're looking for a good night's sleep. Thanks again!

Eileen’s place was a perfect home away from home for my family, very comfortable beds. Eileen supplied milk sugar tea/coffee & even some treats in the cupboard which was a lovely touch.

Lovely apartment to rest and relax. It is located on the edge of town but only a few mins drive away. The apartment is surrounded by green fields, woodland and nature. The terrace is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The apartment is well equipped and homely. Tom and his wife are friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect place for what I needed!

This is a lovely little apartment. spotlessly clean & tidy. Lovely bathroom. We had a very enjoyable stay. Great location in the town right on the canal cycleway. Daingean is lovely town friendly locals lots to do around. Our son really enjoyed the lovely playground on the opposite side of the canal. The kitchen was a little smaller than we thought but we manged to to cook 2 meals there.

A wonderful stay. Gladys is a very warm & friendly host. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended, and I hope to be back soon. Thank you Gladys.

We had a wonderful stay at Loretto’s. The location was perfect for doing day trips and all the information provided about the area was excellent. Loretto and her son Adrian were very welcoming and responded to anything we needed right away. Highly recommend this Air BnB!!

The condo was just as described. Easily walkable. Near just about everything.
