Our home is an agricultural house renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.

Amazing views and tranquility.

Monte Das Covas is an authentic Taipa farm. It is a great place to relax and unwind. The house is surrounded by nature and has stunning views of the green hills. Since this summer, the home has had a high speed internet connection (via Starlink) The home has recently been rented out again. That's why the home doesn't have any reviews. Swimming pool with heated water. Typical Alentejo house with a mezanine bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Garden with barbecue, dining space and swimming pool with heated water. In the garden we have a beautiful wooden house with a bedroom with double bed, bunk bed,bathroom and air conditioning. Villa guests will always have access to both houses. There are no spaces shared with other guests either inside or outside.

Beautyful little house entre a Serra e o Mar

Beautyful little house with outdoor kitchen, including a bbq area and a spacious terrace. The views on our farm are simply beautyful. On clear days you can can see the ocean and on the other the Monchique Mountains. If you love the simple beauty of lush nature, the stars and the silence at night which only allows to listen to the sound of the owle and the fox, you are just right with us. Warm & welcoming especially for a solo traveler from across the world. Peaceful natural surroundings. October great weather w some rain. It’s great I didn’t have to worry about meals while getting over jet lag. What a gem… love the open kitchen &garden, the open shower, view from compost toilet (LOL no need for the mobile during no 2s). Everything!!! Loving Healing space. Thanks Barbara.

From the first contact, even without making the reservation, we felt this was the space chosen for a fantastic Easter weekend. From the time we made the reservation until the day we arrived at the location, we were always clarified of all doubts. When we arrived at the place, we were immediately amazed. What a fantastic space, very well decorated, very well used. 4 very good rooms for the necessary privacy for 4 couples, 2 bathrooms, one of them with 3 showers and 2 toilets, the other where we have one more toilet and one more shower, just a tip for the bathroom with 3 showers, I think a door that really closes was the most suitable for the privacy that we sometimes need. The kitchen with lots of dishes available and equipped with everything we needed, the pool with an infinite view is wonderful. The porch with a beautiful barbecue and wood-burning oven. The house is undoubtedly a WONDER. As soon as I can and there is availability, I will repeat. There were 14 of us and we all loved it.

Maria’s place was a fantastic find in a beautiful town - spacious, filled with light and very comfortable. It had everything you could possibly need to self-cater in a fully functioning and well stocked kitchen. Maria is a wonderful host, meeting us at the property to let us in and showing us around. Despite not being able to speak each other’s language, she was very friendly & easy to understand & communicate with. She was also extremely generous in leaving us with many thoughtful items that made our stay more comfortable and memorable. The apartment is in a quiet location within a short walk to the harbour in the old town with its beautiful vistas, bars, restaurants and shops. There is ample parking straight across the quiet street & opposite the front door to the property.

What a gem of a place. Simple, clean, modern space, with everything we needed inside. Very comfortable, AC in every room, perfect showers and amenities. It was perfect for our family of a few adults and young kids. There was so much for the kids in the house, a room filled with toys and stuff for them to play outside. We’re already planning to stay again in the future. Would recommend.

Casa Gaisma was paradise in the mountains, located in between fruit trees with only sound of birds and the dogs in the valley communicating with each other. Gaisma and Jörg are really friendly and helped with everything we needed. The two dogs living next door were like a family to us, always coming over when we got home after the daytrips and there in the morning to say good morning and seeing if we were having something good for breakfast that they could get a taste of 😍 The surrounding is filled with fruit trees that we could picked off and enjoyed. The bed is comfy and we asked for a fan to get a little bit better air in the bedroom over the nighttime. We always had geckos and frogs in the outdoor space - the frog even jumped in my hand 🤩 and one night we had the adventure to have a visit from a scorpion (wich Gaisma helped us with because we are not used to them). It is just a short drive to visit the beautiful beaches all around and the small towns in the mountains. Loved it
