Thanks to Ilda and Luis for hosting us! Very kind people. The house is impeccable with everything you need. Ilda had even planned some small touches for our arrival and it must be admitted that this is becoming rare on Airbnb… the house is set back from the road and extremely quiet. A garden furniture table and deck chairs await you!Small extra must-have, Ilda even provided a small parasol for going to the beach.

Very nice and peaceful accommodation! Especially enjoyed the pool, the lake, the terrace and the quiteness of the environment.

The great house is very quiet very close to the steep coast. It is perfectly equipped and cozy. A wonderful place to relax and yet not far from beautiful stalls, e.g. the surfing hotspot Odexeixe. The Alentejo region offers everything for lovers of unspoiled nature, the rough sea, good food and captivates with the friendliness of its residents.

A beautiful secluded place by a lake. The house is very comfortable and you are in good reach of their family if you need anything! We booked last minute and Caroline responded within 15 minutes. We got a bit lost and arrived after sun down and she offered home cooked food and a delicious banana cake! Their family is very welcoming and friendly and offered to share their kids toys with our young child. Definitely would recommend to go there if you want to stay away from noise and be in a secluded paradise!

We had a very nice family holiday in Porto Côvo. The kitchen is the highlight of the house, it has pretty much everything for cooking and a lot of space. The terrase / balconies are lovely. Perfect for 3 to 4 couples. It's a big house with different areas if someone needs a quite moment. We really enjoyed it and would for sure come back. The host is very friendly, welcoming and is very committed that his guests feel comfortable. He even got us a late check out as there was not another booking for the same day. The only negative point is that the fourth room with double bed is in the attic storey.

I wish I could give 10 stars instead of 5 for the communication of the host. I asked quite a few questions and everytime I was met with a really friendly and helpfull response within minutes. The house is beautiful, needs little repairs here and there but overall super comfortable. The kitchen is super well equipped and huge, cooking is wonderful in this place! Little things I didn't like: - The house has big windows, and multiple neighbors can look into the garden and the house. Not so much privacy - The couch had a lot of doghairs, and we had no way of cleaning the hairs from our clothing properly We were able to extend for one night and also have a late checkout, which was really great. In the end we left the house with a great feeling, so thank you!

The place was super nice. The nearby beach was super quiet and invited you to relax. We had a wonderful time.

House set in a quiet area, nice little pool on hot days. Although it's 20 minutes from the coast, it's worth it. The village has everything you need, markets and restaurants. The house itself is well equipped, typical cottage. Very nice.

Spent a week in Pedro's place with a family of 10. The house was exactly as the photos and very clean. Place had a lot of space for everybody to enjoy. Pedro was always available at a message and was a great host Thanks Pedro and hope to go again soon Juan

Good size house for a big family, very good and sunny space outside with a big pool. The kitchen had all we needed to cook and eat at home, and the dinner table could accommodate everybody at the same time. Very close to the beach - you can even see the sea from some of the windows in the first level - and all the amenities and shops in the local village.

Let me start with a massive THANK YOU to João for being such an Amazing host!!! I celebrated my partner's 40 with his friends at João's place and we couldn't be happier to have chosen this place! The house is fully equiped with all the appliances you need. It is remote enough to wake up with the peace of nature itself, cozy enough to cuddle indoors by the fire place when the weather isn't great and when it gets chilli at night. Collecting oranges from the trees on the backyard to make orange juice became my hobby! And yes!! I will do it all again!! João helped me with great suggestions of restaurants, cafes, bars, markets and even where to get a Birthday Cake. He was also kind enough to give me a discount based on weather conditions in order to reasure we had the best time at his! and he kept on being very friendly and responsive with everything we asked for!!! Thank you Once Again!!! See you next time!!

We had an excellent stay at João’s place. The villa looks even better than the photos and is very well equipped for the number of people. There are lots of nice seating areas and a great pool area. Nearby there is a big supermarket and amazing beaches for surfing / swimming / walking. João met us on arrival and gave us helpful recommendations of places to go to. We’d very much recommend!

This place is the perfect hideaway if you’re looking for peace and quiet far away from any tourism. The house, pool and garden were even more beautiful than the pictures suggested, we were blown away! The house has everything you need and its cozy interior makes you feel right at home. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms are in great condition and the beds are very comfortable. Lisette and Jorge gave us a warm welcome and paid much attention to questions before and during our stay. We will be happy to come again. Thank you for this amazing experience! 🥰🥰🥰

From the first day of staying in this house we already knew we'll be back. Located in a quiet peaceful place, the house is beautifully decorated with lots of curious details, the beds are extremely comfy and the outdoor pool is big enough to swim. Julia is an outstanding and generous host, she welcomed us with some drinks and left some local fruits and veggies for our dinner. Cant wait to be back!

Monte dos Pinheiros is a gem on the Costa Vicentina. The space is amazing, with immense comfort and with everything thought out in detail as if we were truly at home. From things designed for the kids (outdoor space, toys, games) to the adults (optimal pool, all the utensils and amenities for some incredible days). We're already thinking about next year to come back! In addition to all the amenities and the beauty of the space, it is super well located, close to several beaches (by car) and other points of interest in Alentejo, being a quiet and perfect space to rest. Another highlight is the easy communication with the host, her tips, availability and kindness. I couldn't recommend this place more!

House with all amenities and everything in great condition. The hill is the right place to recharge. For the adults, it was great for the conversation and the reading up. The kids, between the pool, bikes ( which Helena was a darling and arranged in time for our stay), games with balls, and snoker, were always busy and didn't even hear them. obama, my four-legged old man, was happy and content with all the space he had at his disposal and he was very grateful for the bone they were so nice to leave. Very quiet neighborhood with gorgeous views of the ocean and lots of outdoor space! Well stocked kitchen in general and just a 5 minute drive to town for food and groceries. We’re very glad we stayed! Only couple things to be aware of is they don’t provide pool towels so you may have to buy some if you plan to use the pool or go to the beach. The blackout shutters were great to use at night - as the entire place has so many windows and natural light you need them if you want to sleep in past sunrise. We loved Corso restaurant for thin crust pizza but be advised they only serve that type of pizza in the evening. Otherwise it’s flatbread pizza by the slice. Highly recommend!

We had a terrific time staying at Carol’s with my family & also my mum as her birthday treat in Alentejo. Would highly recommend.
