Waterfront vacation rentals in Odemira

We enjoyed our trip very much. Vilanova de milfontes is a very beautiful town. Beautiful view of the apartment. In the city center you can leave the car parked then go to the beach, pool, visit the city or take the ferry to enjoy the fishermen's trail. Very nice staycation!

The location of the apartment overlooking the beautiful beach is just great. We had a larger apartment than actually booked because there was construction work in front of the street and it would therefore have been noisy in the originally booked apartment. Our new apartment had a very large roof terrace directly in front of the kitchen/living room. It was very convenient that you could park in the parking garage and go directly to the apartment through the parking garage.

The location is great , right at the beach, close to hiking trails, the calm river. The host is very nice and easy to communicate. Recommended!

I loved every minute of my stay at Fernando’s house. The view of the river and the sunrise was magical. Fernando is a fantastic person and a kind hearted man. I loved everything about this house and I am going to go back soon. Photos don t do justice for the beautiful house it is and the scenery.

Despite the very confusing check in and lack of communication via Airbnb messaging, it was an awesome place and I'd go back again (now that I know how to check in)

Comfortable place with good beds. Lots of light. Try to avoid going down the steep staircase to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Super Lage, nettes Appartment

Incredible location overlooking the ocean. The. Ire’s are insane and the Fisherman’s Trail is right outside. There are other houses nearby but you are not aware of them. It feels very private. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. The kitchen is obviously used by a family who likes to cook—nothing was missing. One review mentioned a “remodel congestion”. I kind of see what they mean (there are a lot of doors!) but it did not get in the way of our enjoyment of the house. It’s quite a relaxing vacation spot that has more than you need. Plus, crispy cotton bedding! Tomàs was communicative and friendly. Thank you!

Very welcoming home with all amenities needed. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Good choice for those that likes the beach.

Beautiful house with the perfect view to the sea from the master bedroom balcony. Felt relaxed like never before.

We felt at home in the apartment. We especially liked the quiet location in nature. Even in March, we liked using the terrace.

We stayed 6 nights at Bas’ place and expected to use it as a base to explore the Alentejo region. Instead we found the home and the town to be so lovely, we only went out one day to the seashore (which was amazing even in mid April). Bas has created a space with everything you need, including a beautiful view, and we appreciated the artistic designs of the space and the furniture. The hilly quaint town of Odemira was beginning its April celebrations of justice and liberty and we were lucky enough to catch a concert of many local choral groups singing the Cante Alentejano style. As for delicious Portuguese food, try the cataplana de tamboril at O Tarros (we ate there 3 times) and the bola de berlim at cafe Rita. And of course, the Alentejano wines. What a treat to experience what Bas has discovered. And he made it so easy with great instructions and communication. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home in Zambujera. Perfect location to walk to town, yet quiet and private. Also just steps from the Fisherman’s trail for amazing hiking. Even though the weather was bad, we were able to easily jump on the trail for short (and some longer) hikes. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and amazing courtyard to chill outside. Beds were very comfortable.

wonderful time in v.n. de milfontes. The house was lovely and in a great spot, and Manuela went above and beyond to help and give us excellent recommendations. especially to the amazing cake shop.Extremely good communication and a great place to stay.
