Dana was an Awesome Host and communicated very well! The place is Way up in the mountains away from the rest of the world with some amazing views... perfect for a couple days retreat, which I what I booked it. Loved the outdoor deck overlooking the mountains and valley below, all amenities were available and had great signal for internet and phone. Thank you Dana!

This charming two-bedroom cabin is located on the top of the hill surrounded by nature. You do need four-wheel drive if it rains or snows as it is a mile of unpaved rough dirt road up to the cabin. Once there, you are surrounded by beauty and peace. Loved star gazing at night when the weather permitted. There are neighbors who were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. Ann’s place has everything you need to cook meals with plenty of extras. The two split unit heaters kept the house nice and comfortable even when temps dipped into the low 30’s outside. The water pressure was great in the main shower and gets incredibly hot (which I loved). My dogs enjoyed hiking around and exploring the nearby trails with me. WiFi worked great at the cabin. I cannot wait to come back and unwind again. Bring a book, laptop and some good hiking boots, this place is worth every penny spent.

Maryanne's place is a relaxing, quiet oceanview casita very tastefully decorated in a charming Mexican style. Maryanne is also a very responsive and accommodating host and the neighborhood is quiet and secure with 24/7 security. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back here again!

What a find! After a physical day of hiking at Anza Borrega, this is the perfect place to relax and renew. This is a beautifully decorated Casita with comfortable furnishings. And Heather has provided everything you need, from the thoughtful bathroom products to the coffee and snacks. Did I mention the views of the nearby mountains? Wow! My husband and I will certainly stay here again if we ever get back to the area. Tip: delicious food at Red Ocotillo restaurant.

This is our second time staying at Antony's place, and we will absolutely stay again if we find ourselves in the area again. He is a super host and his home is a restful retreat. We all felt completely rested and energised after a good nights sleep ready for a long day of work. Great place.

What a great find in the desert! Golden Sands was the perfect home-base for our exploration of Anza-Borrego State Park. Easy access to hiking trails and the visitor center. The "cowboy hot tub" was the perfect thing for soaking tired muscles after days of hiking. Sitting out under the stars was the perfect end to the day. The house was clean and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We did some cooking at the house, and the kitchen proved adequate for our needs. I highly recommend this place!
