Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Oceanway, Jacksonville

First off, I want to say Marcia’s home was just like the photos, beautiful and clean. My kids and I loved her home so much, my kids wanted to stay longer and move to Florida. Marcia was a very great host, responds quickly, and understanding. The neighborhood was peaceful, we look forward to staying in your home again Marcia. Thank you again for everything.

3 adults and toddlers, and love how cozy yet spacious the home is. Also loved the upstairs play area! Would recommend the owners to provide trash bags as the grocery bags in each trash can (including kitchen) was not suitable. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Jade's place was pristine, very nice, and seems like it was recently renovated. It is convenient to 285 and 90, and close to the airport. Jade was very responsive and quick to resolve my issues - and even drove up to help us out. I would certianly stay there again, and stronly recommend her place.

Sparkling brand new townhouse. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, stylish decorator touches. Clean, quiet and convenient location to either downtown or the beaches. Hosts were so easy to deal with and fixed one issue immediately. Plan to stay here again next time I am in Jax.

Excellent place to stay. Highly recommended if you aren’t a sensitive sleeper. Pros: ⁃ Thoughtful, responsive, helpful host ⁃ All conveniences of home included. ⁃ Excellent A/C. As cold as we wanted it ⁃ beautiful location with view of the lake ⁃ They let us check out 30 mins late ⁃ We were able to use the grill from the unit next door Cons ⁃ 2 highways nearby, planes flying overhead: 10 mins from the JAX airport. *May only be a problem if you are a sensitive sleeper. One guest had no problem, the other struggled with intermittent truck/motorcycle noise from the highway. It may have been due to Memorial Day traffic ⁃ Lighter for the grill didn’t work. Couldn't find lighter inside house as the host suggested. Used other house’s grill ⁃ Due to humidity/swelling, inside doors can be hard to open/close. ⁃ Lights outside automatically turn on at night. Host might have turned off the lights if we’d asked. If it weren’t for highways, we’d make this our main place to stay in Jacksonville

We had a wonderful two-week stay at this lovely property. The home was clean, comfortable, and peaceful; perfect for a relaxing getaway. What truly made the experience stand out was Shawna's exceptional hospitality. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, always responsive and thoughtful in every way. One unforgettable moment was the full-course dinner she prepared for us. It was absolutely delicious and deeply appreciated. Shawna is a fantastic cook! And, she hinted that it might become a thing, so be sure to make the request 😉 (some motivation for you, Shawna). It's rare to come across someone so warm, welcoming, and committed to creating a great experience for their guests. She treated us as a trusted neighbor. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place with both charm and an amazing host. We'd love to return someday! Thank you, Shawna!

Prime Location. I had a lovely stay , with a stunning view. The host went above and beyond with accommodations, completely faceless. Decorated to a T! I would book again.

Ashley’s place was great! It was conveniently located near a Walmart, gas stations, and the highway. The amenities were exactly as described. The pool area and gym were clean, well maintained, and peaceful to use. The apartment itself was spotless. Ashley was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

In town for work and the place fit our needs. Joe was an excellent host. Would stay again when in the area.

Nicki’s place was a perfect, peaceful and private getaway for my husband and I. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Close to a Publix and quick bites. Only a 25 minute drive to historic St. Augustine, and 35 minutes to the beach. We felt safe in the gated community and enjoyed the pool/hot tub.

The hostess is fantastic, communicates well and quickly. The condo is beautiful and in a prime location for peace and relaxation. The condo is within a few minutes drive to downtown with great eateries and shops. The condo is very clean and tidy. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. Highly recommend this condo!!

Location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. There’s Private parking and the apt has umbrella, chairs and beach towels. Host really think about everything! Highly recommend

This place is fantastic! Christopher was an amazing host and was able to accommodate us super last minute after we had to be relocated from another bnb. He was super quick to respond to, had good reccomendations, and was very kind. The BnB is awesome. A/C is fantastic, they have everything you need, and the location is perfect. I will absolutely be returning and i reccomend this location 100%!

Perfect location to beach and walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. Loved having beach chairs, beach mats & umbrella available. We also appreciated the 2 ceiling fans. Everything was very clean and spacious.

My family two babies and a dog stayed here for a long weekend trip. It accommodated all of our needs and was easily located to pool beach. The park right next door was ideally the best part for babies and dog. Would stay here again

Clean, convenient, private, quiet, comfortable. I was in town for a 3-day event near the main beach, but chose to stay in a calmer location away from the crowds. It was the right choice for me and my dog. I liked that the closest beach access was one without a parking lot, making it less crowded and that the unit has an assigned parking space. Just be aware that while the complex is a block from the beach, the unit is in the back of the complex. It's also upstairs at the back of the building, making it a short walk from the parking lot. Easily doable for me, but wouldn't want it to be a surprise for someone with less mobility. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
