Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ocean View, Norfolk

Hosts were very responsive and conscientious to special needs of their guests! And when there was a minor appliance issue they went out of their way, late at night to rectify and more than make up for it!! The house, contents and setting are just lovely!

Loved our visit to the house! Had plenty of space. The location was awesome and close to the beach. Host was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. We will be staying again on our next trip!

This is the second time we’ve booked this house — Emily’s place is always a perfect little oasis. It is spacious with tons of rooms and areas to spend time together! The space is even better than the photos, super clean, and tucked within a cute little neighborhood. The families in our group with kids loved walking through the historic neighborhood in the morning and great coffee shops and amazing restaurants are only a short drive away. The neighborhood is peaceful and the hosts made sure everything was provided for. Thank you Emily and Abel!! You always make the stay so special!

My family and I had a comfortable stay. The location is ideal for military folks and is near grocery stores. It felt like home away from home. We were a total of 5 guests in a 3 bedroom house and we lived comfortably. The host also offers great amenities including a washer/dryer and a relaxing backyard.

The place is super nice. Katrina is super friendly and helpful. My friends and I enjoyed our stay here. Perfect place for a short vacation.

Pip was great! She responded well within the normal response time and was helpful with recommending restaurants in the area. She also provided soap which was something I missed in the amenities list. The location is great and the apt was well lit, very clean, and I felt safe walking in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this location as it’s not as crowded than being on Virgina Beach. We’ll be back before the summer is over. One note is that the apt is on the 3rd floor because the ground floor is for parking.

It was an amazing experience, I loved the accommodations. The set up was nice, they had the fire pit out. We had a peaceful stay. It was really convenient having all the fooderies near us. The rooms were very lavish I loved the tub most of all.

Our stay here was fantastic! Very close to the beach which you can walk to, and only a short drive away from the waterfront that has great restaurants and lots to do! The place itself was clean, quiet and the perfect size for 2 people. If you’re looking for something with great amenities for the size, and in a great location this is it!

It was a great stay, Peter was even accommodating when i asked for an extra night. This place is a beautiful hide out. Clean and reasonable and it was convenient to other places in VA. Would definitely stay again.

We loved this space! We stayed the night for a concert in the area and were able to walk to and from the venue which was awesome! We got to the space and everything was very nice and felt like home! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We loved this cabin, and Caleb was such a gracious host! Arriving to a dozen farm fresh eggs was such a treat. We grabbed some bacon (Smithfield brand, of course) at the local Kroger and had eggs and bacon every day of our trip. The cabin is so quite and peaceful. It literally feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but it's a 5 minute drive to all kinds of shops and activities. The povided kayaks were a major selling point for us. It was a very relaxing and beginner friendly paddle up the creek to the river. We saw all kinds of wildlife including otters playing in the creek! It is true that the hot tub is a little glitchy, but it was plenty warm and didn't impact our enjoyment of it at all. Caleb was kind enough to stack wood in the fire pit for us, making our evening campfire easy and streamline. The cabin is really close to great hiking, boutique and antique shops, the brewery, winery and restaurants. I wish we would have taken him up on the offer to bring our dogs. Next time!

Booked a last minute staycation and am so glad we did. Beautiful, peaceful, - AND a great value. Will definitely be returning in the future.

the cabin is a perfect place for someone looking for a quiet night or two and doesn't require too many amenities.

This by far was the best Air BnB experience I’ve ever had! Lauren was a great host! She went above and beyond to make sure me and my girlfriend’s stay was enjoyable! She even made a Hors d'oeuvre for us! Will definitely book again!
