Vacation rentals with beach access in Ocean View, Norfolk

Great stay in a nice, gated community! The space was comfortable and clean. The only thing was the coffee maker was a little touch and go. Not a big deal. We will be back when we’re back in the area!

Our stay was great! Our son is stationed there and Lynn’s place was so close to him.

Had a little staycation in hampton. I wanted something close to the beach (buckroe) and my massage/ reiki appt. Maia’s place was the perfect little spot to lay my head. The beach was even within walking distance and when I went, I saw some dolphins which was pretty cool. I went with Maia’s place after seeing the other reviews of how clean it was, I’m happy to say everything was accurate in Maia’s pictures and how other folks described it. It was nice having hosts that were intentional about thinking from the guests pov, even going as far to make a video for check in instructions to avoid any confusion. Every thing was clean, the hosts clean the carpets after each use and asks guests to take off shoes in bed area. Bathroom was spotless. They even had a couple board games/ uno for guests. Lots of closet space. The level of consideration felt like a hotel room without the hotel costs. Hosts responded quickly if we had questions. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was excellent. Manager & owner were very willing to work with me over my long stay. House was exactly what I needed. Try Bold Mariner for BBQ and brews just down the street!

Very clean condo! It’s differently walkable to beach and boardwalk! Very convenient to shops and restaurants. A quiet area.

We loved our beach getaway because of our accommodation, it was private and peaceful and had everything we needed! Very clean and furniture done in great taste! We spent a whole week and we didn't want to leave. We especially loved the deck with all the beautiful plants and that we could hear the ocean especially at night! A big plus! We are definitely going back! Jules and Scott, the hosts were so welcoming and kind to us and always helpful. The short walk to the beach was beautiful and so easy! What a gem this place is! This was a beautiful apartment with amazing amenities. Kim and her husband were very friendly and helpful and we were within five minutes of the beach the entire time. The backyard is amazing with a hammock and a swing for the kids. We were very happy at the rooms actually had blackout curtains and we could sleep soundly. The fighter jets that fly all day are amazing to see and they fly super low so families kids and adult adults like can appreciate it.

I could not recommend this place and these hosts enough! The place was warm and welcoming and I absolutely love the location. A very peaceful neighborhood with easy bay access. The hosts were amazing and responsive. The house had some maintenance problems but at no fault of theirs…just typical house problems and they handled everything extremely well and we were not inconvenienced at all! Also our dog loved the place and they were stocked will all the dog necessities which was very helpful!

We stayed at the cozy beach cottage for a "girls trip" for three busy moms looking for a peaceful retreat for the weekend. The house was just as described - cute, clean, and cozy. We appreciated Kenzi's attention to detail and clear instructions, as well as local restaurant recommendations. This house is one block from the ocean; an easy stroll to watch the sunset from beach. We appreciate that the house had everything we needed and required no tasks for checkout. Thank you Kenzi for allowing us a weekend of rest and relaxation!

Kate’s place was perfect for our family’s first trip to Norfolk! The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. Her home is adorable and her neighbors are the sweetest people! My kids loved their little dog. We felt very comfortable in the house — very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we needed! We were very close to downtown as well. We will definitely be coming back if we make it back to Norfolk! Thank you Kate!

Our family enjoyed our stay while we were in town for a sailing regatta! Very spacious for our family! Thank you for sharing your place so we could enjoy some beach time as well!

A+++ From the front door to the sand is only a football field away! New and pristine house. Host is incredibly responsive. Peaceful and clean beach. Close to shopping and VA beach boardwalk is only 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Diana’s Airbnb off Shore Drive on Denwiddie From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much thought and care went into this place. The attention to detail was incredible—from the beautifully curated décor to the small but thoughtful touches like Band-Aids, cooking essentials, and other convenient extras that made a big difference. This place was perfect for the kids and parents and grandparents. We enjoyed our stay here walking distance to the beach was perfection. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the downstairs yard & patio area. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but next time we stay here we will. Beautiful home. Thank you

Gayle’s place was a great location to stay at with our dog!!! Great neighborhood to walk him in and the marina/beach is an added bonus! Gayle was very communicative and check in was easy. The space of the condo was great for a family and large dog! We will definitely be staying again!

We truly enjoyed our stay in late March. Very convenient location on the broad walk. Studio apartment was very comfortable and clean . Truly an experience , sunrise on the beach priceless. We would definitely like to return in the future.

The condo was great very clean and more than enough room for my guest and I. The beach was so close we did not have to walk far at all. Crystal was very responsive and made sure getting to parking to checking in to helping us find places to eat and things to do was easy you practically don’t have to look up anything cause everything was in the messages.

Excellent place to stay for a couple that’s looking to spend some time at the beach. Easy walk to the boardwalk and beach. Awesome host and great place, very satisfied with our experience!

Went up with family and friends for the weekend. Had a wonderful time, venue was a block away from the beach. Host had recommendations on the table for local restaurants. Parking was a little snug but that’s not the host fault others couldn’t park inside the spaces. Overall we would certainly do it again.

Sandbridge was a great place to stay in Virginia Beach. The bedrooms were spacious, and up to 10 people could fit in them if needed. They provided plenty of towels, easy instructions to getting into the building and ample seating in the living areas. Plus the view was amazing. Being near the Inlet you get 360-degree views and can watch the sunrise and sunset. Highly recommend booking if you're looking for a great place to stay.
