It is quietly located and only the sound of the Werra can be heard when the windows are open and lulls you to sleep. We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

Our vacation home is a spacious forester's house on more than 2300 square meters of land, which offers plenty of comfort. Behind the historic facade are four bedrooms, three modern bathrooms, a guest toilet and a bright country kitchen. Welcome to our farm on the Lichtenberg in the beautiful Weserbergland in Heisebeck. Our house from 1875 was restored according to its original construction as a half-timbered courtyard. The result is a cozy apartment on two floors with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large kitchen-living room. Together with the large ingrown garden with adjoining orchard, two terraces and a playground, it is a good base for a relaxing holiday.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
