Amazing location right on Lake Erie. This cozy lake house has a large kitchen, full bathroom and a living room/bedroom with king-size bed. The cottage is off by itself so you can enjoy your seclusion, but we live about 200 feet away so we can assist you if you need us. Enjoy a morning coffee on the deck while watching nature, spectacular sunsets on the private patio, and falling asleep to the sounds of the lake. You will be blown away by the beauty and peacefulness of this amazing cottage.

Apartment has three air conditioning units when it is hot outside.

Smart TV but no cable, washer/dryer in unit. **A previous tenant from over 1 yr ago smoked here** Carpet/paint replaced but some have stated stale smell is bothersome. If sensitive please be advised. Lovely little place. I was here for work so I was only there for a brief time but it is a great place in a great location. Beautiful surroundings and PEACEFUL!! I work nights but found this place to be extremely quiet all day as I slept. Thank you for a great stay. I will be back!!

This is a beautiful home and property practically on the Oberlin campus. The kitchen and many bathrooms are pristine and well kept, and there's a big yard with a firepit and porch to sit on. Beds were comfortable and clean with plenty of spare blankets. There is a trundle bed in the child's room that is easy to pull out, and a very small foldable sofa in the downstairs room. There is definitely opportunity for this property to sleep more people comfortably, and plenty of bathrooms to support that, but perhaps by design it's most comfortable with fewer people. Laundry is easy to access and modern. Many thoughtful touches. Wonderful base of operations for a college visit, move-in, or move-out.

This place was an absolute standout and we will definitely be back. It was incredibly unique and the history of the house itself makes the experience even neater. Even though we live locally, we felt like we were transported to the other side of the globe. It was such a peaceful experience and even though it poured rain and was cold literally the entire three days, we still enjoyed every moment because the views, the floor to ceiling windows, and the charm of the place itself were incredible. We will definitely be back to try to catch a sunset. The hosts were also fantastic. Cannot recommend highly enough. Only thing others should know is to plan carefully if you have anyone in your party who would struggle with the 60 or so steps that exist to enter and leave the house. I personally loved it and the trip up and down the hill is beautiful but my husband has bad knees so he had a little trouble. Overall A+ experience
