Monthly Rentals in Oakburn

First things first we have to say WOW! Me and my husband decided to get away for a weekend and we both really enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. We were blown away by the cleanliness, beautiful views and how freindly and accommodating Ian was. Loved the note in the information book about how the cabin was crafted and made. The pride and craftsmanship that was put into this place really shows. You can tell Ian and his wife Lorna both care about their cabin and the people that rent it from them. The cabin itself was so comfortable and we felt right at home. It is definitely an outdoor enthusiasts dream! We checked ice conditions for ice fishing, went snowshoeing, went to riding mountain to see the bison and visited clear lake. Lots of beautiful scenery, very private. Loved the fact that you hear nothing, no highways, no busy streets. Felt like the perfect getaway! We have already been thinking of which date we would like to book again in the near future. Our second time staying here while in the area to visit family and it met all expectations. Jenn was very helpful and the place is so spacious and well equipped. The peace and solitude of the property was a welcome break.

Great stay! Beautiful and private property surrounded with mature trees and large yard; large home with spacious rooms and lots of windows; tastefully decorated and ample storage, seating and amenities in all the rooms; kitchen loaded with everything you could need to cook and all small appliances; pristinely clean! Sheryl was an excellent host! Thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful getaway!
