Really very nice and accommodating hosts and a great house, lovingly and decorated with a style all its own. It may be a little strange for some that the house is still actively inhabited and is therefore full of personal belongings, but you get used to it very quickly and then feel right at home. We can only warmly recommend Astrid and her husband's place to everyone. 😊

It was like visiting friends. Wonderful garden, space to play for the kids, different corners to discover and relax. And the chickens were a highlight for me. Every afternoon see what they had put back for us. Everything we needed. Gladly come back.

I never write reviews despite the fact that I’ve stayed at dozens of rental properties around the world. This one stood out. As did the owner. I felt compelled to write something this time around. The place is absolutely beautiful with an amazing view, wonderful terraces, and every imaginable convenience, amenity and comfort. Tim was so great that I wound up inviting him over for dinner next time he’s in my city! This was fantastic place to stay. Tranquil, scenic and comfortable.

The house was great. Plenty of room with lots of amenities. It’s located near the train stop and university. Perfect if you have business at the university. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive to any questions we had. They really wanted to ensure we had a great stay.

Very nice contact to Sonja, super great quiet location directly by the forest and great with dog. Everything you need, including enough laundry and wood. We felt very comfortable, the tiled stove warms up quickly and everything absolutely uncomplicated and we can only recommend it

Our stay was wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. The apartment was very clean, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is quiet and offers a beautiful view – perfect for relaxing. Adriana and Oana were extremely friendly and helpful, they were in contact with us even before arrival and provided us with all the information in detail. Since we had a long journey, it was a great relief for us that we were allowed to check in earlier by arrangement. Also on the day of departure, when we had a problem with the car, we were kindly allowed to leave the car in the parking lot for a few more hours – for which we are very grateful!We can wholeheartedly recommend this place and look forward to seeing you again. My family and I had an amazing stay at Christine's place. Brand new, beautiful house in a quiet cul-de-sac. Plenty of nature within walking distance, as well as super markets and good restaurants. The layout of the house is open, bright and modern, with high quality furniture, bathrooms and kitchen. My personal highlight was the massive sliding glass door, which when opened, made the dining and living room feel like an outdoor space. This is on top of the already generous outdoor space with BBQ grill. Christine and Patric have been nothing short of perfect hosts. Super helpful, friendly, always available. I can't recommend this listing enough. Our family has made some of our fondest memories here.

After a long drive as part of a weekend trip to southern Germany, we found the perfect place to arrive and recharge for the next (travel) day in Sandy's cozy stone cottage. We just felt very comfortable. Thank you, Sandra!

There were six of us (3 couples) in the house. We were welcomed on site and everything was explained to us. Thank you! We also received tips for the area. The beds are great, the living room is very suitable for nice sitting together in the evening. Kitchen, barbecue and garden were also used by us. The sauna is large enough for about 3 people. On the day of departure, we were personally said goodbye again. Communication was consistently binding, clear and very nice! We had a great weekend to slow down and get together!

Great Place to stay with Everything you need, easy to walk to the City Centre and lovely Restaurants and cafes.

Great experience, the house is old but tidy and clean, there are 4 rooms in total 8 beds, the living room is great, the kitchen is fully equipped, there is a washing machine in the basement.It would have been even better if slippers were provided.

Me, my husband and our 4year old daughter spend our winter vacation at the cottage, upon arrival there was candy and an apple with a reindeer on it, for our daughter (which she appreciated very much) The cottage was super cozy, and clean. Comfortable bed and the sofa turned in to a bed for our daughter but you wouldn’t notice u were sleeping on a sofa, it was really ergonomic. There is parking space in front of the cottage which was very nice. We have nothing negative to mention. We loved the heating system on the wall, even when it was -5°C. outside at night we never got cold. If we ever want to stay in the same region we would definitely book with Thomas and Daniela again. ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect house for a group of friends with children. The hot tub was a big plus, as was the playroom for children. It's clear that they pay attention to details to make the stay as comfortable as possible. There are many activities in the area for young and old. In addition, the owners Tim and Tanja are very quick to respond to questions and are flexible! We enjoyed our weekend in the Schwarzwaldhaus castle view. Highly recommended!!!

It was a short weekend - too short for the location. A very lovingly prepared house with lots of history and a new extension, large living room-kitchen combination and sauna in this equipment is rarely found. Clay plaster, heat pump, beds with 3° inclination for better sleep, there is a lot to tell if you were there. Not to mention the view and the cooking and grilling possibilities. Also a very nice, helpful landlady with lots of tips and commitment. We say thank you to Sabine and Erwin for the (unfortunately much too short) weekend! A real specialty
