Local Gem! Marvin was a fantastic host, quick to respond to any needs or questions. Chepita's is easily accessible, very close to many great restaurants, markets, and shops. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed - including 3 seperate beds and laundry. It was the perfect landing spot after a full day of activities - Highly recommend for any length of stay!

This was a great little spot and such amazing value for money. The house looks newly refurbished, is modern, extremely clean and very comfortable (esp the king size bed!) We were pleasantly surprised by everything! The hosts were very responsive and fixed an issue we had with the shower right away. The location is within a small town, it has a few good shops close by for groceries, meat, fruits, bakery etc. The house itself is within a property with a few other homes but still feels private and has beautiful gardens. Overall a great stay and we’d def return.

my family of 5 enjoyed our stay. My inlaws, me, my husband and son all enjoyed the property. It was so relaxing, beautiful and clean and we found it a great base to explore La Fortuna and Arenal area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting this area.

We absolutely loved our stay here!! It was our favourite Airbnb and the only mistake we made is not booking it longer. It was also the comfiest bed we slept in all week! Norwin went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special!! We loved it. There was so much to do it was an incredible space and we were sad to leave it! We appreciate all the recommendations from Norwin, he was an incredible host! The hot water was also a bonus ! We loved the pool perfect place to cool down and soooo many games ! I would not hesitate to come back just to stay here!! The only rec I would have is earplugs if you’re a light sleeper as the walls are a little thin, although usually a very quiet peaceful neighbourhood!

The location was safe and gated. There was a hiccup initially as we were provided instructions to access the wrong lockbox and we should have accessed a second lockbox. The house is 2 down from GPS look for solid silver gate. The place was as described and shown in the photos. There was a minor leak from the roof to the outside of the bathroom on the second floor. The a/c in the house was great and there was a unit in each bedroom. We also scheduled massages with the host. The ladies who arrived worked out all our aches from the many hikes we had from our adventures! Highly recommend!! We also did our laundry at the house there was a washer, dryer and detergent. Everything we needed including dishes, silverware, cups, soap, etc. There are some minor street noise from rowdy cars late night. There is a convenient store thats walkable near by. We were 10-20 minutes from all the major attractions. We would stay here if we ever visit La Fortuna again!

Es un lugar extremadamente HERMOSO, perfecto para desconectarse y renovar energías, súper completo, acogedor, el lugar estába impecable, cuidaron de cada detalle, tiene todo a la mano para no preocuparse por nada, la piscina super limpia y relajante mi esposo y yo estuvimos cuatro días y no nos alcanzó para disfrutar de tanto que ofrece el lugar y la casa, sin duda la anfitriona es una hermosa persona, súper amable y dulce, es un lugar simplemente perfecto, a ojos cerrados volveremos a este lugar. (súper recomendado)

Beautiful house in a private park. The park has a lot of trees and animals (iguanas, a toucan, a Jesus-Christ-lizard, we even saw two aras) and a swimming pool. The house is fully equipped and luxurious, with new kitchen equipment, air condition & outdoor kitchen & BBQ. It is the Ideal place if you want to spend several days in the La Fortuna area. For dinner, we liked „Escape Bar“, we had Chifrio and rice with shrimps.

Greetings, I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved the views of the lake and mountains. The view from the living room is a constant reminder of the incredible natural beauty of Arenal. We enjoyed how the morning light fills the house, especially the main bedroom. We cooked almost every day. Great stove and a well equipped kitchen was a plus and saved us a lot of money. The house is cozy with great views. The grounds are beautiful and enhance the surrounding natural beauty. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort of the house and the environment you have created. Casa Colette was a great place to stay! It is a beautiful home and the hosts provided us with everything we needed to be comfortable. It was walkable to most places during the daytime and we would usually drive to dinner at night.

The house was definitely nicer in person! The pool is really nice and the rooms both have their own bathroom and shower. The house is in a gated community, quiet area, and safe place. Randall was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions! If you’re looking to stay in La fortuna, I would definitely recommend.

We decided last minute to stay one night here and it was wonderful! Easy to find, clean, beautiful place, amenities well kept and relaxing. Walkable to restaurants, and one on the premise so you don't have to go far at all if you don't want. And Quesada is 10 min drive for more things to do or eat or shop. Friendly and lovely owners. It really felt like staying at a family's guest house, we loved it so much. it was a short stay, but we will be back! Thank you Daniela!

The host met us at the door and was helpful throughout the stay. The unit is with in walking distance of bars, restaurants, and stores. It sits on a large property that has walking trails. The birding was excellent on site. The major parks are all a short drive away or can be accessed at the bus stop out front. Our stay was very enjoyable!

La estadía fue perfecta, el hogar muy bonito y acogedor, con una distribución del espacio perfecta, una cocina divina con todo lo necesario para cocinar. Los cuartos muy ordenados, limpios y con una cama muy cómoda. El ambiente alrededor muy tranquilo y relajante, con atracciones muy cercanas, por ejemplo “El Salto” a unos 10 minutos caminando o 2 minutos en carro. Definitivamente es un lugar al que volveríamos, muy agradecidos con Eylin por ser una excelente anfitriona y ayudarnos con nuestras necesidades.

Very nice hosts and a very peaceful stay! Loved the agriculture and views around the place. Far enough from the crowds but close enough to the town of La fortuna. It was perfect!

Nice cabin like space with privacy and beautiful landscaping. Nice outside sitting area on the deck. Beautifully clean linens and spotless interior. Outside lights were n when we arrived just after dark. It was a nice touch. Great to have a kitchen as well. Beds were super comfortable as well. Would recommend to others and would definitely stay again.

Muy lindo el lugar la verdad, a mi familia y a mí nos encantó mucho todo, la piscina la disfrutamos y nos gustó que tuviera un área para niños ya que siempre viajamos con niños, los anfitriones muy amables y en general todo fue excelente

Can’t really put in to words how much we enjoyed our stay at Jim’s place! It’s a little slice of heaven. The property is located on the top of the hill tucked away in the most peaceful and beautiful location. Jim was amazing providing clear directions and plenty of great recommendations for food and activities in the area. He checked in frequently to ensure that we good and that we had everything that we needed. Hairo and Devin were super friendly and it was comforting knowing they were there to help with anything we may have needed. We enjoyed being on the farm with all the animals. The house was so cozy and relaxing and looks exactly like the photos. We are so happy that we chose to stay here and I would definitely come back!

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir waren eine Nacht dort. Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen, man ist ganz für sich alleine. Die Aussicht ins grüne ist wunderbar, am Abend konnten wir sogar Tucan aus dem Fenster beobachten. Vor Ort hat es alles was man benötigt.
