Local Gem! Marvin was a fantastic host, quick to respond to any needs or questions. Chepita's is easily accessible, very close to many great restaurants, markets, and shops. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed - including 3 seperate beds and laundry. It was the perfect landing spot after a full day of activities - Highly recommend for any length of stay!

my family of 5 enjoyed our stay. My inlaws, me, my husband and son all enjoyed the property. It was so relaxing, beautiful and clean and we found it a great base to explore La Fortuna and Arenal area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting this area.

We absolutely loved our stay here!! It was our favourite Airbnb and the only mistake we made is not booking it longer. It was also the comfiest bed we slept in all week! Norwin went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special!! We loved it. There was so much to do it was an incredible space and we were sad to leave it! We appreciate all the recommendations from Norwin, he was an incredible host! The hot water was also a bonus ! We loved the pool perfect place to cool down and soooo many games ! I would not hesitate to come back just to stay here!! The only rec I would have is earplugs if you’re a light sleeper as the walls are a little thin, although usually a very quiet peaceful neighbourhood!

Great day with a very attentive host!

The location was safe and gated. There was a hiccup initially as we were provided instructions to access the wrong lockbox and we should have accessed a second lockbox. The house is 2 down from GPS look for solid silver gate. The place was as described and shown in the photos. There was a minor leak from the roof to the outside of the bathroom on the second floor. The a/c in the house was great and there was a unit in each bedroom. We also scheduled massages with the host. The ladies who arrived worked out all our aches from the many hikes we had from our adventures! Highly recommend!! We also did our laundry at the house there was a washer, dryer and detergent. Everything we needed including dishes, silverware, cups, soap, etc. There are some minor street noise from rowdy cars late night. There is a convenient store thats walkable near by. We were 10-20 minutes from all the major attractions. We would stay here if we ever visit La Fortuna again!

We spent 3 nights here while visiting the LaFortuna area. A private and quiet location yet close to the town and attractions. Very spacious for all 7 of us. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

It is an extremely BEAUTIFUL place, perfect to disconnect and renew your energy, fully equipped, cozy, the place was impeccable, they took care of every detail, it has everything at hand so you don't have to worry about anything, the pool was super clean and relaxing. My husband and I stayed for four days and we didn't have enough time to enjoy everything the place and the house offers, without a doubt the host is a beautiful person, super friendly and sweet, it is a simply perfect place, without a doubt we will return to this place. (highly recommended)

Beautiful house in a private park. The park has a lot of trees and animals (iguanas, a toucan, a Jesus-Christ-lizard, we even saw two aras) and a swimming pool. The house is fully equipped and luxurious, with new kitchen equipment, air condition & outdoor kitchen & BBQ. It is the Ideal place if you want to spend several days in the La Fortuna area. For dinner, we liked „Escape Bar“, we had Chifrio and rice with shrimps.

Greetings, I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved the views of the lake and mountains. The view from the living room is a constant reminder of the incredible natural beauty of Arenal. We enjoyed how the morning light fills the house, especially the main bedroom. We cooked almost every day. Great stove and a well equipped kitchen was a plus and saved us a lot of money. The house is cozy with great views. The grounds are beautiful and enhance the surrounding natural beauty. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort of the house and the environment you have created. Great people all around

Casa Colette was a great place to stay! It is a beautiful home and the hosts provided us with everything we needed to be comfortable. It was walkable to most places during the daytime and we would usually drive to dinner at night.

The house was definitely nicer in person! The pool is really nice and the rooms both have their own bathroom and shower. The house is in a gated community, quiet area, and safe place. Randall was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions! If you’re looking to stay in La fortuna, I would definitely recommend.

We decided last minute to stay one night here and it was wonderful! Easy to find, clean, beautiful place, amenities well kept and relaxing. Walkable to restaurants, and one on the premise so you don't have to go far at all if you don't want. And Quesada is 10 min drive for more things to do or eat or shop. Friendly and lovely owners. It really felt like staying at a family's guest house, we loved it so much. it was a short stay, but we will be back! Thank you Daniela!

The host met us at the door and was helpful throughout the stay. The unit is with in walking distance of bars, restaurants, and stores. It sits on a large property that has walking trails. The birding was excellent on site. The major parks are all a short drive away or can be accessed at the bus stop out front. Our stay was very enjoyable!

This is such a unique and beautiful property. Super quiet and private, we loved the windows/natural light and hearing the birds in the morning.

Great place, great service, the place is just too beautiful

Carmen’s place was spectacular! Everything was absolutely perfect & clean. You can tell Carmen has pride in her black house and property. There was a fruit basket waiting on arrival, a beautiful trail right on her property. I have nothing but good things to say. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend any family/ friends to stay here as well. I wish we didn’t have to leave, but cannot wait for our return.

Very nice hosts and a very peaceful stay! Loved the agriculture and views around the place. Far enough from the crowds but close enough to the town of La fortuna. It was perfect!

The place is really very nice, my family and I loved everything, we enjoyed the pool and we liked that it had an area for children since we always travel with children, the hosts were very friendly and overall everything was excellent

Can’t really put in to words how much we enjoyed our stay at Jim’s place! It’s a little slice of heaven. The property is located on the top of the hill tucked away in the most peaceful and beautiful location. Jim was amazing providing clear directions and plenty of great recommendations for food and activities in the area. He checked in frequently to ensure that we good and that we had everything that we needed. Hairo and Devin were super friendly and it was comforting knowing they were there to help with anything we may have needed. We enjoyed being on the farm with all the animals. The house was so cozy and relaxing and looks exactly like the photos. We are so happy that we chose to stay here and I would definitely come back!

Great place we will definitely be back!

We just got back from 8 days throughout Costa Rica and Agutipaca Bungalows was our last stop. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay here longer. We truly felt like a welcomed guest on their well loved property. We were greeted and offered a nature walk by Angie. We saw more on this walk than we did with our paid guides. Her knowledge was amazing, and her excitement to share it with us was so genuine. We saw sloths, sleeping kinkajous, and toucans. The owners also showed us aspects of their property, the different fruit trees, flowers, and birds Our bungalow was immaculate. Plenty of room, and all necessary utensils. Loved the view and hammock. The bathroom and table had beautiful fresh flowers from the garden. They provided coffee, milk, and deliver a delicious fresh made breakfast (fresh juice, fruit, and a main) to your room. The grounds were beautiful, with trails along the river, a garden, fruit trees and even Ceiba tree. We loved our stay and are already planning returning!
