Vacation rentals with breakfast in Nuevo Arenal

This place was magical. The view is unmatched and the inside is immaculate. Definitely feels high-end and clean. It was super close to downtown La Fortuna and plenty of activities while still feeling secluded. Our family had a great stay and hope to visit again in the future.

The casita is located on the grounds of a beautiful hotel with hot springs and a small farm. It was wonderful to have access to the resort amenities and the included breakfast. The hotel staff were lovely!

This was a perfect home for our group. Beautiful and relaxing location. Check-in was a breeze, beds were comfortable, and everything in great condition.

The bumpy roads and distance are absolutely worth the time and effort to get here! Walking into the home and yard is like walking into the garden of Eden. We loved every minute, even with all the rain! The people in this area are amazing, and truly treat you like a friend. Pura Vida at its best!

Jim and Carol's place is a bit off the beaten path about 30 mins outside of La Fortuna. They are wonderful, kind and attentive hosts. The breakfast each morning was delicious and Jim delighted us with stories and magic tricks. Would reccomend for travelers who want something outside of the town and who wants to be more in nature/secluded.

Jenny's place was awesome! very close to the main road and very close to restaurants, shops and to many attractions in Monteverde. Jenny is a fantastic host. Communication was great, she gave us great recommendations , and the breakfast she prepares and serves is a great way to start the day. The house was spacious for our family of 5. We highly recommend it.

If you are a birder, you have found your perfect destination. We went birding at a lot of places in CR, and the best birding spot of all was the porch at Wildlife Paradise, which also comes with a friendly and knowledgeable resident professional naturalist and birding guide; Eduardo. Local fruit, homemade tortillas and freshly made empanadas, still warm from the pan, were a hit with us, courtesy of Nidia. There is secure locked parking, excellent tour recommendations, and the ability to book private tours run by your host, who is locally respected amongst the guiding community. The lodging is very reasonably priced, and easily accommodates 2 or 3 (4 in a pinch). This place is way off the beaten path, like the birds. We saw a trio of male 3-wattled bell birds on one branch here. I chalked up half of my lifers in CR while I had a coffee in my hand on the porch. The peace was amazing; the silence deafening. Nature permeates everything about this place. Go to here!

Wir haben das erhalten was wir erwartet haben. Das Haus strahlt Ruhe aus und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner sind ein Segen in der feuchten Region. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Lage sehr ruhig. Schöne Aussicht. Auch wir haben Kolibris und Tukane aus dem Fenster gesehen. Wir können das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Tolle Unterkunft, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Super Frühstück und schön, dass wir die Gastgeberin beim Frühstück persönlich kennen lernen durften :)

We had a fantastic stay at Ever’s place in Monteverde! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and felt really homely thanks to all the little touches Ever added — from cooking essentials in the kitchen to nice shower gel in the bathroom. It made such a difference having those thoughtful extras while travelling. Ever was a wonderful host, really friendly and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect for exploring Monteverde, and we felt so comfortable and well looked after during our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Très beau séjour de 3 nuits chez Eliette et Mark. Les appartements sont très bien équipés et entourés d’un beau jardin où l’on peut observer des animaux (papillons, colibris, toucan, faucon, pava …). Nous avons beaucoup échangé avec Eliette qui nous a très bien conseillés sur les meilleures activités et spots de là région. Très bon petit déjeuner inclus. Possibilité aussi de parcourir un sentier dans la forêt (un peu loins d’un km).

Unser Aufenthalt bei Carole und Paul war großartig, wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das tägliche Frühstück war immer abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht und liegt direkt am See, die Aussicht ist wirklich schön. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Carole und Paul waren sehr lieb, hilfreich und einfach zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden definitiv wiederkommen.

This place is phenomenal! Super quiet, away from the tourist areas. Makes for a great home base. It’s not in walking distance to Santa Ana, but we preferred that as it was much quieter and peaceful. Would have loved to stay longer. Thanks for a great stay!

Anthony's place is in a good location just outside the center of Monterverde, well-positioned for trips there and for driving to La Fortuna when you're done in Monterverde. He is friendly and responsive. The breakfast is good; he is friendly and responsive. For the price, it's a good value.

This place was definitely an oasis with a comfortable lovely bed, the most and the wonderful hosts. If you are sensitive to others being loud, it does echo and the stairs are right next to your room. We came with the intentions to totally relax at the end of the trip and be away from the city. It was a bit difficult If you’re trying to go to bed early or take a nap, almost impossible. The breakfast was so delicious. I love me some plantains in the morning! I would recommend this place if you’re open to sharing your space, and not having complete peace and quiet.

We feel so blessed to have experienced Kristopher and Marie’s one-of-a-kind Airbnb accommodation. It is thoughtfully curated for those who are seeking an authentic experience nestled amongst Monteverde’s symbolic cloud forest. From the moment we arrived, they spared no expense in making us feel right at home by explaining all the features and amenities, providing us with a reservoir of information on local activities and for always being accessible. The inclusive daily breakfast was deliciously unforgettable, especially the homemade sourdough avocado toast and açaí bowl. We slept like babies every night and relished the breathtaking views. Marie also offers a morning yoga class which was the perfect way to start off the day. We genuinely enjoyed every second and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to be immersed with nature.

Great place! The room is cute and comfortable. The bathroom is inside the room. There is an A/C, linens, towels, soap and shampoo. Your car is safe inside the gate, right outside your room. The common eating area has a beautiful view of a lush garden with a variety of plants and birds. We left too early for breakfast, but the hosts were so kind to have coffee, hot chocolate and homemade donuts for us. Communication was almost instant, and they were very accommodating of our odd schedule. Such a lovely place!

Muito boa a hospedagem. O local é lindo e ainda vimos uma preguiça dormindo na árvore do estacionamento! O café da manhã estava incluído na reserva e era muito bom também! Nos deram dicas do que fazer. O bosque nuboso de monteverde estava sem reserva disponível, e nos sugeriram de ir para o bosque de Santa Elena! Foi ótimo!!

We loved our stay at Casa Rayo de Luna! The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable. In a quiet, beautiful location just 3 minutes from town centre by car. Jose Pablo and his family were such kind people and they make a delicious breakfast! Highly recommended.

Marlenny and Freddie are great hosts. My daughters and I had a great time. Some might find the rooms a little small, but we weren't in Santa Elena/MonteVerde to hang out in a room (and they were priced appropriately). Marlenny communicated really well and helped book out activities in the cloud forest and their family coffee farm (if you like coffee you really should do their tour). Staff was friendly and breakfasts excellent.

Der Empfang durch die Gastgeber war herzlich. Die Unterkunft war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Das Bett war bequem und die Terrasse mit den Möbeln lud zum verweilen ein. Das landestypische Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. In der familiengeführten Soda kann man leckeres Abendessen zu sich nehmen, preis Leistung ist hier auch top. Ich kann die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen, ich würde jeder Zeit wieder hier einen stop machen.
