The cabin is very private and snug without noise in a great natural setting, with good distance to the cabin neighbor. The cabin has a living room w/fireplace, access to a great terrace with a lovely view, three nice bedrooms and tiled bathroom/laundry room w/ heating cables in the floor and washing machine. The bedrooms have: (1) 160cm bed (2) "Family bunk" with 120 cm bed below and 80 cm above. (3) 120 cm bed below and 80 cm above.

Solar panels provide the power you need. Water is collected in a well. Remember to bring your own linens and towel. The shower is connected with an electric pump. You have to heat water ahead of time to shower hot. Ring the cabin warm can be turned on in advance in the winter.

Fem minutter andre veien tar deg til dagligvarebutikken. Er du student eller ansatt og trenger overnatting på samling, er dette stedet helt perfekt. We stayed three days with our dog in the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The location was great, the view great and it was pleasantly quiet – perfect for relaxing. The place itself was clean, cozy, and well appointed. Hikes were not far away and ideally accessible, which made the stay with a dog particularly pleasant. We would come back anytime!

We stayed at Petter’s place for a family trip with 4 adults and a baby. It was a lovely and peaceful spot with some woodland walks nearby. It’s also only 15 minute drive to the coastal town of Holmestrand. They have a pig and two dogs and the farm adjacent has several horses. There is a lodger living downstairs who kept to herself. The house was clean and tidy and nicely decorated, as per the photos. We didn’t meet Petter but he had good communication and was flexible in allowing us to check out slightly later. Many thanks!

We spent 3 nights in Mette's house. The cottage is super cozy with great views of the Telemark Canal. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place. No TV or WiFi. However, we did not miss that. Mette was super nice and was always available. We would definitely stay there again.

We are very happy with our stay in Bø. Very cozy house with a fantastic garden where big and small had a good time. A great place where it was easy to find tranquility, with a nice blueberry forest as the closest neighbor. Everything worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

Awesome apartment right next to the river. Very responsive and helpful host. Stayed for a month and very quickly felt at home. Kitchen is perfect if you want to cook and the outside terrace area is beautiful. Pictures match the experience. Practical walking distance to Skien centre, close to grocery store, and bus stop to get around.

Anne’s place is a hidden gem! It looks good in the picture but it’s even better in real. The location is ideal with mountains, lake, trails, parks for kids and groceries. The home was athletically decorated, the beds were very comfortable and the living space was cozy with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Anne has been very kind and welcomed us to the apartment warmly. She shared local recommendations and made sure our stay was comfortable. We would love to revisit! Thanks much Anne ❤️

Rented this nice apartment both in Easter 2023 and Easter 2025. Both times we were very pleased. Andreas responds quickly to all inquiries. All the little things you need for the kitchen or laundry are in place. Good selection of games for all ages. Highly recommended, and will be happy to come back here.
