Places to stay in Norwalk

We stayed here for my son's wedding. Very peaceful, private, and comfortable. Husband saw otters in the pond while walking the dogs! Deer in the yard both mornings. Comfy beds and lots of games if you have time for that which we did not unfortunately. I would highly recommend staying here! It is a very short trip to The Hive wedding venue too! Thank you for a great stay!

Molly was a great host and very helpful when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable for our family. Her home was very clean, the furniture was really comfortable, and the home was on an active farm surrounded by beautiful and peaceful farm land. The home is also only about 10 minutes to Adel which has a cute little downtown area with several resturants and only about a half hour to the West end of Des Moines which had a lot of shopping and activity. It was a perfect stay for us.

this is an absolutely fantastic place to stay. Great views in the country, close to town with responsive and friendly host. plenty of room for the whole family with everything you need. I recommend this place for anyone wishing to house their family foe any occasion.

Our stay over Easter was wonderful. Abby was super helpful and always responded quickly. The home was as pictured. Very open space, which was great for our family to be able to socialize and play. We travel with a service dog. The fenced in backyard was wonderful! It was great to be able to let our Pup play when he wasn’t working. Abby even provided bags for clean up. There was plenty of space and plenty of parking. Being able to park in the garage was an added bonus, as it rained all week. We will stay here again when we are visiting family!

Clean, comfortable and very stylish. Well-appointed with lots of nice little touches. Julie was very easy to communicate with, and we absolutely loved the location – private, in an interesting neighborhood, yet an easy commute to anyplace in the city. We loved this place and were thankful for the opportunity to stay here – it was perfect for us: we hope to be back!

Timberpine Lodge was just the escape we were looking for. The lodge is beautiful inside and out. The kitchen is stunning and very well appointed. The counters and island give more than enough prep and service space. The appliances are top notch. We enjoyed having enough space to gather to eat and play games. The lodge and land also provided areas to have private moments too. The hot tub was very clean and larger than expected. We took advantage of the group seating around the fire pit. The bird watching was fascinating from the screened porch. We connected with nature and each other. Thank you Timberpine Lodge. We will be back.

Tyson not only made our stay feel at home, but he was the most accommodating host. Our wrestling team with 5 kids had a big kitchen, cozy living rooms, laundry area, and comfy bed rooms for all of us to stay. We would definitely consider this place again if we are needing to stay in the Des Moines area. Tyson was soo generous in letting the kids finish their laundry before we left the house. I even missed the most comfy bed in the master bedroom since leaving this house. I am going to have to consider getting one for myself. Tyson will make sure you are feeling at home and will be responsive if you need anything, and for this I recommend anyone who is looking to stay in the Des Moines area to check out this house when staying the night.
