Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

everything was beyond expectations. fireplace was lit prior to arrival. kitchen had all the basics (salt,pepper, olive oil, coffee filters w/coffee maker & French press!, copper pots, ceramic pan, nice knives and cutting boards!)...I am already planning my next vacation days off to spend here

We had the best time in Tobermory, and Joyce's place was the perfect spot to stay! Couldn't have asked for anything more. You can tell they put a lot of time and effort into the airbnb.. from the handmade local pottery coffee mugs, to the treats at check-in, just lovely! 10/10 stars.

Such a serene place to stay. would 100% recommend if you are looking for a respite.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was spotless and incredibly comfortable — even better than the photos. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel at home, from the cozy linens to the well-stocked kitchen. The location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating — truly went above and beyond. I can’t recommend this place enough and would definitely love to stay again. A perfect Airbnb experience!

We loved our stay at the Coach House, a high point on our tour road trip around Georgian Bay. It was cosy and comfortable, nicely decorated and well-equipped. We had beautiful weather and the small private deck was perfect for having breakfast and dinner watching sand hill cranes grazing in the neighbouring fields! It was great spot for birdwatching! Mindemoya is a central location for exploring Manatoulin and has a good-sized grocery store. A short walk across the road from Twin Peaks takes you to the lake. Leslie was very welcoming and we would love to stay again soon.

We enjoyed another stay at Eternity By River! Everything was exactly as described with exceptional attention to detail at a beautiful serene property! When we stayed 2 years ago, it was perfect and it’s hard to believe that it would be even better this time but it was! The master ensuite shower was divine and the patio adds a nice outdoor space! This is our 4th stay at one of Johanne and Greg’s properties and they are outstanding hosts. Thank you for providing us with a beautiful home away from home! 😊

Having stayed at multiple airbnbs around the world, Jane’s cabin feels like the edge of it. This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed, and it’s true about the good energy here. We can’t wait to come back and spend time here again. We travelled with our two month old, and we’re so great full that she got to experience this place. If you’re worried about the outdoor bathroom, don’t be; it’s squeaky clean and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, and the fresh herbs in the garden were amazing. We stayed for 4 nights, and Jane was one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever stayed with. Thank you for everything Jane.

If you're looking for a beautiful quiet vacation this is the place for you. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is truly unbeatable- close to town, parks, beaches, and trails while giving you a cozy, private backwoods feel. We really appreciated the spacious kitchen, and comfortable deck in particular. Carolyn was an excellent host, communicative and kind. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed as a group of seven and found the place incredibly comfortable and luxurious. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a great stay. Unfortunately, freezing rain kept us from enjoying the outdoors, but the cozy and spacious interior made up for it. Highly recommend this place for groups looking for a relaxing getaway!
