What a find. Such a beautiful location for our little break. Such friendly hosts. Everything was wonderful and our children are already asking when we can go back! Both Suzanne and Mark were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our stay so special 😊

This was our third time staying here, and to be honest I dont know why you would choose to stay anywhere else. It is a magical spot to spend a few days and the hosts are amazing - they have thought of everything and are so friendly and welcoming. We will be back and we recommend it as hands down the best place on AirBnB we have stayed at - by miles.

Really really good stay. Enjoyed the use of the indoor and outdoor fires, especially under the stars and listening to the owls. Kathryn & Trevor have really used the space well and it feels very private. Trevor welcomed us from the beginning and was very friendly and showed us to the hut. Perfect weekend away to recharge and spend quality time with loved ones. Thank you for letting us stay in such a lovely peaceful space! Oh and the sheep are extremely friendly too!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner who was lambing. We were shown lambs that were 15 minutes old! Very friendly owners who are clearly passionate about what they do. The shepherds hut was very clean throughout and very cosy with the underfloor heating. The little personal touches throughout really made the place feel homely. We walked into town which didn't take long and found a great selection of pubs and food available, as advertised. Attached to the side of the hut their was a little sheltered area with the wood burning stove and BBQ. Even in a cold wind, this area was toasty with the burner on. Even if the weather turned, you'd be fine having a BBQ outside here. All in all, a brilliant little place that we will be returning to

Lovely night’s stay on the Pennine Way. Everything exactly as Hannah’s info. Gorgeous views and evening sun from the little bench. I was lucky enough to have great weather and didn’t need the stove but I imagine the hut would be really cosy with it. Delicious cake on arrival and bacon and egg butty to set me up for the day. (No cooking equipment but good food at the Green Dragon) Thank you Hannah!

Stayed for a birthday with my boyfriend. Was the perfect place for a relaxing evening. The hot tub was great as was the fire pit. The cabin was cosy and cute. Highly recommend!

Lovley, clean, cosy, private lodge. Pub just at the end of the path. Everything we needed for a short break. Just needed a mop as my lemonade sprayed and the dog and us had muddy feet from the garden path so had to use a towel to clean the floor but no issue Brilliant dog walks in the woods and nice to come back in the hot tub and relax. Thank you. Just what we needed. Lovley tranquil night away from life. 😊

What a lovely find! Really peaceful, you feel like you are the only ones in the woods. Loads of wildlife to see and the bubbling creek was so soothing and picturesque. We had breakfast outside watching the fields opposite. The property had everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable. Jordan was so lovely and very attentive, he was quick to assist answer any questions we had. The village is beautiful! We had dinner in The White Bear pub, food was gorgeous and the land lord was such a gent. All in all, a fantastic weekend away!

We booked a last minute stay at the Shepherds Rest and had a lovely time. The hut was a great size and the hot tub was a fantastic extra, especially with the sun shine. Thanks for having us 🫶🏼

We genuinely had such a lovely stay. The hut was amazing and had everything you could ask for. It was in a private location looking over the river and it was so peaceful. The hot tub and pizza oven was great and everything made for a lovely weekend. We had a great day in Howarth and then in Hebden Bridge. Also, Cate was such a lovely host. She made the check in process easy, smooth, and described everything really well. Plus, we ran out of firefighters and then brought us some more within 5 minutes- it was great! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Me and my partner had an absolutely lovely stay high house hideaway, it was a lovely hut with plenty of space, we also couldn't be more thankful for the welcome gifts they were lovely! the hot tub was also great, all in all I would highly recommend and we would happily stay again.

Lovely relaxing weekend spent here in mid March. Second visit after a few years gap and the return trip did not disappoint. Bruce is the perfect host, interesting and interested, a very warm and generous welcome - made to feel at home and then left to relax and unwind - exactly as I remembered from my first trip. Cosy wagon, comfortable bed, hot shower, incredible views. I would highly recommend a visit.

It is truly a woodland wonder! Ali has created a such a beautiful, quirky & magical spot. If you want to feel completely at peace & as one with nature then you have to come and experiance this place! The hut itself is tranquil and the views are just beautiful, the outdoor shower is bliss & an experiance in itself & the location is so ideal for exploring all of what Settle & the surrounding areas has to offer, This place is truly enchanting, we had the most amazing 2 days exploring, unwinding & fully disconnecting from our busy lives. Our two dogs absolutley loved it, exploring the secure grounds & forest & playing to their hearts content, so much so our Collie did not want to leave! We had a wonderful stay and booked the sheep hugging /walking tour too which was amazing! The beds are super comfy, peaceful surroundings and fun quirky experience! I wish I stayed longer.

Perfect place to get back to basics and switch off. Within 10mins drive from coastal resorts. The shepherd's hut was super cute and with the log burner at night so cozy. The pooch enjoyed the outdoors and made friends with the resident goats. Host was great and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect.

Had a fabulous stay for my birthday, lovely added extras like processco, chocolate and balloons. Loved the dog and chickens popping to say hello. Only thing we wasn't expecting was hearing the people staying in other lodgings, as they had music on till early hours, so not the hosts fault but worth mentioning as you can hear others and not as secluded as expected. But would absolutely visit again such a beautiful place and surroundings.

Very easy to find, the location is stunning with a lovely dog friendly walk direct from the cabin. Host kept everything very simple for our check in which we appreciated and allowed us to check in early. Has some animals that provide hours of entertainment watching the goats bang heads and the Alpacas trotting around. The gas BBQ is perfect for cooking up a quick meaty storm. My partner also commented on how fresh and clean the bed linen was. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend to any couple wanting to get away for some peace and quiet.
