Hotel vacation rentals in North Yorkshire

I came to the Mallard Lodge with my husband, 2 lads and their partners to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. This lodge was clean, homely, comfortable and very well equipped in the kitchen, bathroom, living room and on the family games front too. The lodge is situated in an area so peaceful and beautiful surroundings and an excellent area for some great walks. We were even greeted with a big, fresh loaf of bread, a lovely Victorian sandwich cake, eggs, butter, sugar, tea, milk and coffee - such a lovely touch. The hot tub was amazing, clean and under cover - which was useful especially when it rained one night!! Jenny and Selena have been so helpful before our trip, on check in and offered lots of advice on local events and amenities. We would have no issues coming back here, in fact ‘we will be back’ Thank you Jennie and Selena - don’t change - you do a fabulous job in making your customers feel very welcome.

This is an exceptional chalet and Jennie is absolutely lovely and very customer focused and super responsive. The little details and all the provisions are superb. The hot tub and grounds are stunning and the walls just gorgeous. We were gutted to leave and would love to come back.

We received a lovely welcome at the hotel and directed to where we were staying. The hotel is well furnished and great service. We were given keys to the cottage, which was next door but one to the hotel. The cottage was clean, beds were comfy and rooms nicely decorated. We were staying here to attend a wedding at Padiham town hall. It was within easy walking distance. Overall, we had a lovely stay. Thank you

Excellent stay. Lovely, clean modern caravan. Felt very homely. Everything we needed was provided or made clear we needed to bring ourselves. The app was great. Cayton beach was great for the dog and luckily we had beautiful blue sky too. The Salty Dog cafe/hatch was very welcome when coming off the beach. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Solid price, comfortable with a very promising boozer just a few steps away.

Nice caravan close to the park very well equipped especially if you have young children with you.

If you’re looking for a quiet place with a friendly atmosphere that’s filled with a lot of natural lighting plus energy, this is certainly the location to visit. It being my first time visiting i must say the customer service was splendid, much appreciated been hosted here I advice you too to check it out.

It was perfect for our weekend away, I have to admit after booking and realising it was on a Park Dean resort we were a bit apprehensive after a past experience. But I have to say it was a fantastic site, all staff that we had contact with were friendly and helpful. To top it all the caravan was perfect, really cosy, great balcony to sit outside on. We hopefully will be coming to stay again. As Cayton bay and the surrounding beaches are beautiful. Just a shame we didn’t get better weather. But still had a great weekend away. Our son described it as the best place ever!

Lovely lodge really had a good time and the dogs were very happy that they could play on the balcony great location, was just the thing for a little getaway

Our stay here was lovely!! absolutely beautifully decorated and really private and quiet. Although just off the main road the room is really well soundproofed so we couldn’t hear a peep! The bathtub was amazing and felt such a luxury we loved this feature! Would highly recommend anyone looking to stay near scarborough or just on the yorkshire coast!!

We absolutely loved every detail in our room. No 3 The Willows. It was extremely well presented from The minute you walked through the gate, path and front door, excellent decor and attention to maintaining a very high standard stood out . The room was welcoming, attractive decor , spotless and had everything you need . We loved the patio doors onto a private bijou courtyard area, (would be exceptional if some fairy lights and more comfortable seating was added . ) but that’s just a personal opinion as there was a little set that did the job . The shower was powerfully, and the bed was like a fluffy cloud , just a brilliant and comfortable stay . Thank you Peter

Nice place to stay in the heart of Skipton. We enjoyed the location and the accommodation in general. Easy access with self entry code. Parking 5 mins away. Would like to return if we are in the area.

Really nice stay at art hostel. Just wjat we needed for the 4 of us on our little trip to leeds

I never stayed in a hostel before. But I could not asked for better place for a stay over during a motorbike trip with friends. We have been given permission to keep motorbikes out of sight, 4 bunk beds were just what we needed. Self catering kitchen has more than you need and breakfast in the money was worth it's money. Bathrooms and Showers were surprisingly clean and well maintained. Beware water is very hot. Should I come back this way I will for sure consider to book again.

Had a fab last minute booked stay over the Easter break. Myself and my husband planned a good walk when we arrived around the estate. By the time we finished our walk, we could check in. Booked a table for evening meal, food and service was excellent. Breakfast was gorgeous also. Staff so friendly, little treasure of a B&B. Already told lots of people and will be visiting the Owl again for sure. Thank you 🤩
