Mountain View Treehouse

Perched 17 feet above the forest floor between four mature Douglas fir trees and ready for your relaxing escape. You may catch a glimpse of a blacktail deer, turkey, grey squirrel, or hear a great horned owl or woodpecker. No comfort is left out, equipped with an unlimited hot water shower, toilet, sink, heat and ac. The interior of the treehouse is lined with incense cedar harvested on the property. Small decks off the front and back of the treehouse to relax and enjoy your morning coffee.

Nestled in the trees near the North Umpqua River, Mountain Mama Lodge is the perfect place to stay while exploring the Umpqua! We're about a 40min drive to the North entrance of Crater Lake Nat. Park, Lemolo & Diamond Lakes, and roughly 12 miles from Umpqua Hot Springs, Toketee Falls & Watson Falls. Come and enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay where you can put your feet up and unwind inside of our beautiful 100 year old quaint cottage, or enjoy the gorgeous private scenery and wildlife surrounding it. Many which include a variety of birds, deer, our residential goats, pig, horses, bunnies, and our seasonal pond with mallards and frogs. This cabin is cozy and comfortable. it is located a short distance from Plat I reservoir. The reservoir is a buzz during the spring and summer months with nesting birds and wildlife. The cabin sits well off the main road so this lends itself to the quiet that is enjoyed here. Pets are welcome but must not be left unattended.
